It is truly a girls generation and I am not mad at all. This song... Mascara was such a slay last year, I was obsessed so for this to be miles away better is blowing my mind. Everything about this release is PERFECTION, the song is top tier, absolutely SOTY contender, the fashion, the hair, the makeup, THIS VIDEO, like can we talk about how original and unique it is from the sets to the editing and filming? The people they work with are some of the best in every field, as they should be because the girls are shaping up to be just that as well. Girllll wait until the stagessss ughhhh Also, can somebody pack these girls up and send them to the US to promote on a tv show or something? The GLOBAL appeal is real.

LEFT RIGHT appeals to different people I guess. Some people like a change in chord progression in a chorus constantly to keep their attention, others like grooving to a song with the same vibe throughout

In my opinion only I like that they kept it at the same flow..It’s reminds me of 90’a and 2000’s R&B that doesn’t have crazy changes on the beat..If it did change I would of lost on the rhythm..R&B(Rhythm &Blues)

Very true, I personally don’t mind either but I see why some wanted more. There was only two songs released with this comeback so expecting a more complicated song is reasonable in my opinion. If it was a whole album with many different songs then I could see this song being more satisfactory to some.

Yeah I think sometimes he’s used to the Kpop structure of songs that have a lot of different parts added in so his expectation for songs are set at that level, but the song is a nice ode to those 90s-2000s Rnb tracks and did it justice

everything about this comeback was perfect to me-- CONCEPT, STYLING, RAP, CHOREO, VOCALS, INSTRUMENTAL, MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION.... literally everything! i haven't felt this way about a kpop song in a long time where it's just been an INSTANT YES. i hope the girls get more recognition from this, and i can't wait to see Ola's reaction!!

I can’t even tell you how many times I kept replaying parts ON THE FIRST PLAY. That prechorus was heaven sent and that last lien from Juria got me too! Her delivery there was chefs kiss. And Mayaaaaaaaa!! Her chorus and the visuals! This video/song was such a pleasant surprise today

The thing about XG, which sticks out to me is their confidence and naturalness. If someone would've told me that XG is a group that were created by the ladies and they were friends since childhood, then I would've believed you. They have this comraderie amongst themselves that seems way too organic rather this being a case of auditions and then training for years to see if they made the cut.

You were definitely right on your community post. I know it's not technically kpop, but when I listened right before watchinh this, I thought...it's like a mixture of r&b/pop and kpop done the best way. I the bside was only a taste compared to the tt. It's definitely gonna be hard to beat this and the girls are showing right off the bat that 2023 is another year for girl domination in the industry👏🏻⭐️ Edit: and the styling?!?! They all looked so good. Cocona's styling almost had me on the floor😭💞 and the video is so well done. It's candy to the eyes🤩

Lmaooo I screamed when you got up! But the pre chorus, chorus and bridge are the most heavenly I’ve heard so far in 2023. The raps are still growing on, their rap line is probably the strongest amongst girl groups right now but they deserved better lyrics tbh! @@Koko3op Tbh I never considered that to be a possibility. It took me multiple listens for Shooting Star for me to get used to it because the stark difference between verses and chorus was giving me figurative whiplash. Left Right is smoother in that sense to me.
