Hello, yeah indeed the Xhorse Keytool Max does not read EEPROM off the board or perform complex bench activities. For more advanced bench work or reading/writing EEPROM off the board i would recommend a Thinktool Master series or Autel IM608 Pro. Though, they are abit pricey compared to the Xhorse Keytool.
