He kills things to fast lol, yeah sums it up pretty well. He finished his side of 12-3 faster then the ganyu team which was surprising. But him being able to break those shields while still doing massive damage is a huge boon.

Building Xiao for me was really fun. A game is never too fun when everything's easy. I felt so proud of myself when I got him to 90☺

Try running Xiao with an Anemo battery, your 150% ER is more than enough with enough support.

He's my first character that I pushed to 90 , weapon 90 and all artifacts 20 with no def/Em and all have cr/cd/er/at or hp. It really put into perspective the work you and other content creators put in. Bruh bless you and your channel 🤣

I personally love him, he's become my main. I also got lucky and got his weapon and for that I'm thankful. I still need to up his CR though but my Xiao CD in 191.5% but I get it, he is a pain in the butt to build especially the gladiator pieces.

Tip for xiao players even though it's late. Dont level his ult past 7, at 7 it gets a cd reduction but any level after that just boost plunge damage BUT it gives less of a damage boost than his auto attack so just level his autos after his ults at 7 for the cd

I've had Venti since like day 3 of the game, i've farmed months for him, basically just switched gear to Xiao. That was a real blessing.

Good thing there are still few months to his rerun. I already have to deal with farming gold series for my most used 3 characters (I didn't realize they used the same one lol), so beating up anemo cube and primo geovishap doesn't even bother me. Good luck to anyone who's also saving for him!

Omg Mog stop using e during Xiao's ult form. He gets no particles from it and he's a very energy-starved hero. Always run an anemo battery with him to funnel particles to him and use ur e's right before you press Q and right after ur burst form is over.

I completely agree with you on how Xiao's release has been "handled" is pretty bad but I think it's less to do with him and just the abysmal way Mihoyo has handled polearm users in general, I believe Hu Tao will be the same. Why are there TWO F2P physical damage bonus spears and ONE ATK bonus spear (which you have to buy from starglitter AKA you have to roll gacha) when no spear user so far has been physical damage centred. Xiangling is a support DPS, Zhongli was *supposed* to be a support/support DPS (but now can do anything), and Xiao is an Anemo DPS carry. Next is Hu Tao, who is a Pyro DPS carry. Wtf Mihoyo. Gotta wait to use them on Rosaria I guess??????

I've done Childe almost every week since he came out and haven't gotten a single talent material for Xiao. Zhongli is pretty bulked up tho...

The only buff/QoL change I wish they’d thrown into xiaos kit is his plunge spears didn’t shoot enemies out and all over the field

That bits at the end was so relatable. Ruin guards or stonehide dies in like 2-3 plunge it feels like a waste

i didnt spend any resins on the anemo hypothasis cause i have many many spare other shard and i convert it to anemo using the dust thing

I got that sick Spear from the standard pull xD (Just made a single pull from ascending a character lol) and from the Xiao banner, I got my Mona to C1 SMH xD I'm now considering buying some more Primos if I don't get him through the event primos xD But I kind of don't want to spend more money xD

Blackcliff is one of the best on par with the 5 star spears for Xiao... He can do 30k plunges easy no buff

just realized when u said it that i actually dont use his ult very often on open world too. when i thought about it, i mostly just use his skill cause his E is already strong enough plus i got him to c1 so three charges. of course with the exception of abyss mages and mitachurls with geo shields, but yeah, quite funny how i never noticed that xD

As a f2p who accidentally got both him and his spear (I wasn't pulling specifically for him and I got his spear from single wish on standard banner) I must say that having his spear definitely makes difference and while building his definitely can be painful, he is so so worth it. Edit: I feel the same way about using his ult, he is so damn strong that I feel like I'm just wasting it if I use it during daily commissions or outside of abyss

It's funny you went for the spear and got the sword because I was going for the sword and got the spear instead. Since I was extremely close to guaranteed pity on the character banner from last time I decided to just go ahead and get Xiao so I have someone who can actually make good use of the spear. Still sad about the sword it would of been really good on Xingqiu.

i equiqed a maxed out skyward spine spear on him, and dude he just really never runs out of ult. i sometimes have jean on my team, because i got her 2nd constellation feelsbadman. but she dont do much energy recharge

Skyward spine is what I use for Xiao and it seems pretty nice. It works well for me at least

But both of the bosses have the highest chance to drop gladiator artifacts , mihoyo is actually passively helping us build xiao

i actually prefer deathmatch OVER the primordial jade spear sure you lose some flat attack but the crit and attack AND def percent is amazing

skyward spine is actually really good for him imo it helps a lot with his ultimate burst

damnnnnn i didn't realized how lucky i was since before i was going for keqing in the keqing banner but i got the primo spear instead and at the time i had no one to use it on since my main dps is traveler but i also got xiao on my 27th pull i think i used up all my luck for the next decade

Favonius spear it is great because you full again almost immediately and that you want from xiao all time ultimate. 👍👍

I'm F2P and I only went for Xiao because I got a winged jade from standard banner, in retrospect, I should've saved until zhongli rerun. My only 5 stars are winged Jade, tartaglia and xiao.

Got bored of spamming plunge attacks and requiring heals after every burst. He feels tedious to play now despite looking so good

I have average artifacts and a 3 star white Tassel and still he does good amount of dmg, enemies will either be wiped off or almost dead when his ult ends.

so what ive learned from watching you. Combine noelle, qiqi (they both can be tanks and supports), a archer (not earth or ice), and a pyro (early game amber is a pyro archer but late game this would be important)
