Xiaomi Mi Max 3 5500 MAh battery 4/6GB of ram 6.9 inch screen Snapdragon 636 $299 Solid value. Share your thoughts on this one below and enjoy the video :)
Next time, pls search for the issues in the phone. I found the mi max has a blue tint in its 4 edges. So we will able to know what we should buy. Thank you nick
And what should I buy? Mi max 3 or iphone 7. Because iphone 7 will be updated in more years. And I am thinking about the camera also. You can install google camera for mi max 3. And I dont know which is better in there.
Samsung and Apple need the watch out for Xiaomi because they're getting the big picture people want a good quality smartphone without having to pay over $700 and up for one.
Watching on my Mi Max 3. This phone is a great budget phone. PUBG doesnt lag on smooth + hd option. This phone is also good fot watching videos and stuff! Worth the price!
@@kittyoyan683 Mi Max 2 had gorilla glass 4 so there is no way that this newer model has nothing. Xiaomi probably put on it some kind of their own protection that must get similar results with gorilla glass i assume so they can avoid paying loyalties.
I have 3340mah in my current phone and use it for mostly podcast/music and lately been playing games on it but that aside I can have it go up to 2 days so the fact that this phone is 5300mah is amazing I'm definitely upgrading.
I have xiaomi Mi A2 and I say it is not necessary to have a cell phone more powerful than this for a daily use it works well with any game or app without crashes hugs from Brazil
@@hunterjd I use the Redmi Note 5 that uses the SD636 and I play PUBG on it... Without GFX tools the games runs at 25fps on medium settings but with GFX it runs between 40-50 fps and that's a massive difference. And if the SD660 is a bit more powerful than the SD636, it might perform a bit better
Very nice phone i bought my first xiaomi phone in the philippines i love it then again april 2018 i bought another in hongkong new mi max2 64 gb im using here in america with tmobile sim carrier works perfectly clear. This coming dec 2018 im coming back to hongkong to buy the pocophone f1 with 128gb i love the storage pictures & vedios yesse .im #1fan of XIAOMI👍👍👍👍👍
Personally I love the Mi Max line of phones, I've had 1 and 2 and can't wait to get 3. They're not the greatest phones obviously but you do get what you pay for, acceptable performance, huge media screen and a stellar battery. Thumbs up to Xiaomi.
Ive owned this phone for about a couple of weeks now. I had the galaxy s8+ and then the xiaomi mi mix 1st gen amongst many other phones including iPhones. This is my favorite phone so far...Amazing battery lasts about 2 days, huge display, expandable storage, LTE on AT&T network, and pretty decent camera. (Not better than the galaxy s8+, but good enough) All in all it is a great value for the money.
To answer your question Nick on whether I like budget phones over the more premium flagship phones, I would have to say yes I do. Your argument on why you should get a a premium phone is by far the most compelling I have heard from any RU-vid tech Vlogger. The latest technology, Warranty backed phone to aid in keeping its value, Quality product with quality components all make sense overall in buying and preserving a flagship phone, but here is where your argument is undone.. The same manufacturers that produce products with top of the line specs updated software for this year's model that I have already purchase, will turn around and try to sell me next year's model with slightly better components and specs while jacking up the price higher of said device then I paid last year.. At least if I purchase a mid-range to budget phone, I can stay cutting edge while not killing my pockets.. Because there are manufacturers willing to do cutting edge technology at a fraction of the price, I have chance for a stylish device that has flagship features while allow me to purchase next budget/midranger or even last year's flagship for that matter at a lower price point!!!!
I love this phone I have it in blue it is a great side phone and I use it for like 3 days at a time! Worth the upgrade from the Max 2 for the LTE alone.
Great review! Will you be making a comparison video between this and the pocophone f1? Woild love to know more in depth between these two along with camera/video quality comparisons!
There are a few key functions that you did not mention and that is the "Developer funtion". It allows you to manually change some settings of your phone to your choice. I would suggest you to enter into "Developer Settings" as you can change your animation time, window time and transition time for your opening and closing of apps and screens. You can set it to .5x or even off it totally, making your phone looks and perform way much faster.
Thanks for the side by side with the iPhone. I carry the X and 6s. My X Bluetooth stuck. So 6s is now connected to the watch. Want a giant screen for RU-vid. Got the ZTE folder and I was wanting this as well but I haven’t opened my ZTE yet.
Does it do tablet mode like iPhone plus series? It might be fun as tablet/back up phone. I once bought an $80 ZTE Max and it was a surprisingly useful phone. Did everything I needed.
There not really comparable this phone has way longer battery life and bigger screen the Pocophone is much faster and sleeker. It really comes down to what one is looking for
Does the Mi Max 3 have really a yellowish and unclear screen? I wan't to buy it but since I'm used to amoled screen this meight be a total deal breaker for me
I bought this phone two days ago but I wasn't able to find the "face-unlock" feature on the settings. Fingerprint unlocking is great, but where's the "face-unlock"? Anyone?
@@rasheedriva8664 Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to my inquiry. I did find out about this after having posted my comment. The problem is that you loose face recognition again once you revert the phone to your present location. So I decided to stick with the fingertip recognition which is also safer. :)
I bought this phone brand new in box sealed on eBay. I live in California and have it on the network METRO PC'S LTE/4G. It's a great phone it doesn't lag and man th battery last me all day ! Better than any other high phone I owned. I love that's it's fast.
Hello! I've heard a couple peopole say something about "connection" issues. Is this true in your experience? Also, do you have the 4gb ram model or 6gb? Since you say it doesn't lag, I'm just curious. I'm looking at the 6gb model but it's hard to find from trusted sellers. I might just settle for the 4gb model. Any feed back would be great! Thank you!
Also, do you get notification icons on the status bar on the upper left corner like a regular android phone? I know the Xiaomi Pocophone does not which many complain about. Thanks again!
Hi man... You didn't talk about the mi Max 3 phone call issues... I heard some friends mine complaining about the phone calls, after awail you will no be able to make and receive calls.. I really not sure if this is due to the phone Chinese version instead the global version. But you should talk about this, to let anyone to know about it.
Just got mine yesterday. So far I like it but the screen does not have the “pop” color/contrast wise as either the Samsung’s or Apple phones, the icons just look a bit dull. Also, no wireless charging mode which to me no big deal but would have liked.
My Xiaomi mi max 3 is working fine but sometimes doesn't work receiving and calling my questions is can I fit that I'm from puerto Rico and my carrier is T-Mobile
I am watching this on my POCOPHONE. I just spent $70 to return my Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The signals was unstable to the point of unusable. I tried installing new ROM; it did not work. I tried factory reset; it did not work. I tried different APN setting; it did not work. Camera picture quality is disappointing. Pocophone F1 on the other hand, I can't be more happy with it!
Maybe you are in a country it was not supported or you just got a faulty model. It happens every now and then with all products. Is definitely not an issue other Mi Max 3 users face. Pocophone has great price and specs BUT, i can never buy a phone with a nodge. I just can't do it. I wish all this Chinese manufacturers will stop intimidating Apple so much and doing whatever bullshit they do like removing headphone jacks and putting nodges.
How do u compare this phone to 1200$ or more phones ??!!! How are u disliking the fact that it does not have wireless charging or water resistance !! Its a 250$ phone with great specs snapdragon very good camera btw looks like u havent tested it at all and just wanted to advertise the glassy honor note ! Its a great phone the best for the ones who need very big screen
I have a question should i be scared of chinese brands because im scared that after 1 year of using a xiaomi it will be unusable and are there some things that are bad on this phone like the battery i really don't know what to choose an a40 or a xiaomi i don't trust chinese brands that much
I can tell you that this phone is such a beast with it's 🔥 🔋 been using it for almost 7 months , and don't be scared you live once just try it and give it a shot if you don't like it you can just replace it or buy something else.ayne try waiting for mi max 4 it maybe better than this.
you forgot to mention how that phone is one of the brands known to send your personal info such as text, calls, pics and other data to chinese servers. huawei, htc, blu phones are on that list also. I know im going to get fanboys to these brands disagreeing with me or saying whats the big deal but hey its your personal info not mine 😂
