Beautifully done video just perfect really & very relaxing for some reason, maybe because you're not shouting at me & pulling stupid faces. I'm subbing.
I bought Camera Imilab 20 Pro international version and Smart Speaker Mi Smart Clock, please guide me how to connect these 2 devices so that I can Show Camera on smart speaker screen. I searched for a few days and couldn't find it. Thank you
I bought one too. I realized na mahina lang yung speaker niya and slightly sabog. Though, acceptable for small rooms na less than 10sqm. Very nice content. Subscribed here!
Got mine today, RU-vid Music seemed to work but now it keeps saying "I can't do that here, but you can ask me to play it on one of your devices". TuneIn stream works fine though. Checked the Music settings in the Assistant/Home and RU-vidMusic is the default service. Weird.
Hi, I am looking for a desk clock and found this one. I already have a google nest mini, will it works seamlessly with nest or this is a replacement for it?
A bit late but may I know how did you turn on your entire set up without touching a thing? I get the automation thru the smart plugs but you still have the power on your pc/laptop right? Or am I missing something? Lol
- very clear and head to the point. - can i voice-command it with cheap chinese smart plug(not made by xiaomi). the plug work fine with my google app and my phone.
Hi it seems I’ll need Xiaomi app and also google app to use it, can you show more on the alarm clock how it sound, does it announce the time first? And if you have cctv at home how it is appear on the app
Hi, I just want to ask, if i keep the screen on a fixed app, such as the camera for monitoring my baby, will it show the camera continuously or it will be backed to the home page and you have to choose to view the camera again? Just in case I could let my parents use it when they take care of my baby..
Great video. Also some nice tips that I can try out for my resident one which is currently an alarm clock for my kids. May prank them one of these weekends telling them they're late for the school bus! 😂
just got one free with my poco x4 pro 5g all for 200bucks in the uk.... poco x4 pro usually is about 300+ and this clock about 50.... wasnt sure what it did, how it works..... wondering if i should use it or give it to parents for the actual clock..... tbh i would only use it for the clock and the music, but thats only because thats all i know about it..... wondering if it can slideshow photos or movies with music???? i dont have any other devices it can switch on???? i do have google on the tv i suppose but i switched off the mic on the tv lol
Nicely done. I like the way you review the device. I have few questions. 1. What set up do you use? I mean you use tripod during the start? Can I see if possible also. 2. Will this smart device work even the main device is not within the same wifi connection? 3. If someone will call, does this device serve as a speaker? Or only this focus on clock activities only.
@@dom_does Thank you for your response but I purchased one for $40 at Best Buy because they are so right now and it shows the doorbell camera feed when someone rings the doorbell. It even gives you options to have quick response and to talk through the microphone
Hi. What's your input on the speaker? Is it any good while listening to music/spotify? I'm torn between getting an Echo Dot with clock and this Mi Smart Clock.
Hi sorry are you by any chance based in Malaysia? Is this device only operate in Chinese? The one that I saw from the e-commerce store said only Chinese version - I am just worried that it will not support Google assistant
The entire setup's routed to a single smart plug; I say the magic words and it collectively turns on. As for the computer itself, it simply automatically turns on once it detects power from the laptop charger.
hi @Dom, can you tell me if setting up night mode and setting the brightness level to a lower setting works? this doesnt work with an equivalent from lenovo. thanks in advance
Hi! I cannot find this information so i figured out that you might know: is there a setting to shut the screen off when ambient light is low? And if there is not is there a way to shut the screen off (manually or using google assistant) ? Thanks in advance :)
I got mine today, yes there's an option per theme. You can select between "Show Mono clockface", "Show current clockface", "Turn off screen". When the ambient light is low it will activate depends on what you selected.
hi, i'm setting up my mi smart clock but the set up is taking more than a day now. Clock shows "Connected" and my phone is still loading the "Set up Google Assistant". not sure what the problem is. Can you help?
Unfortunately there is quite a lot of factors that may contribute to the scenario that you have here, so I'm afraid I can't effectively help you out on this other than sharing the steps I made to make my device work.
@Johan Tessens wow you are heaven sent! It actually worked. Now my last issue is it says it can’t view the camera that I’m trying to pair it with. I bought this to pair with Mi 360 smart camera to make it work like a baby monitor. Would you also know I can fix that? Thank you very much
That, I haven't tried yet since I do not have any other non-Mi smart devices here as of this writing. IMHO though, I think it should be able to interact with Non-Mi Smart devices as long as the said devices are Google Assistant-compatible.
You can. As long as its connected to your google home app, you'll be able to control it there via voice. Lights via switch on the screen (as long as it is in the same room as the clock)
I merely bought this from my local Mi Store here in my country, which is why I can't say for certain where you could buy the global version in your area.
Hi! I bought mine from one of the local Mi Stores around the metro. Ask for the one with the Google Assistant as that supports multiple languages, with English as its default.
Hello, congratulations for your review! Does XIAOMI Mi Smart Clock also have an automatic screen off function for the night? In case how is the procedure? Thank you!
Well, how should I explain this... On Google Home I made a small "programming" that responds to my trigger command. For example, if I say "goodnight", the assistant 1)asks for my alarm time, 2) turns off the lights, and 3) turns off the screen. Thank you for the greeting! :)
Hello I have a problem I need to change the language bc I didn't saw the video and it is on Japan please help me on this problem! And I need to have the youtube thing and the talk one I wanted to talk and say (hey Google) and nothing help me please.
Is it stable? How does it perform compared to Google Home mini? I have heard comment about it being slow to respond to commands, the clock glitching and general stability issues. How is your experience? If this device performs as well as the Google Home mini, its screen is a big factor to prefer the Xiaomi Smart Clock.
