Ngl, i like Stuart's interpretation better. There's just something about it that makes by brain go fuzzy, in a good way, but i can't really tell if Otsuka is doing anything particular with Xigbar, apart from what you say in the description. But i'm also unfamiliar with the japanese language as a whole, so who knows. That being said, Otsuka sounds too serious for Xiggy, but i still appreciate his work ❤
Probably knowing Japanese would help, cuz I heard that Xigbar became like a way bigger presence cuz Nomura really liked his voice, so he told the actor to play it like he knew more than he was letting on, and I assume it would've been the japanese voice, rather than the English one
