What's aggravating about that is most of the time it isn't the actors fault, they are directed to deliver the line with almost zero context and a voice director says "yup that's good" like who tf heard that and thought it was an appropriate emotional response to Xivu screaming? Same goes for almost all of the Osiris dialog in spire

@@jsporty1240 oh I absolutely know, chances are Saladin's VA got a piece of paper with 'no...' on it and he said the line. He likely didn't even hear Xivu's line.

@@Laachen plus the fact that a lot of the time they record the same line over and over and someone else picks the version that goes in, a lot of VAs don’t know which take they’ll pick until they hear the released version

Folks, looking back, I'm heavily disappointed. It feels like Xivu was a plot device to let us know that we need to revive Savathun, and provide context and story for Sloane and Ahsa. I also feel they were just narrative moments to move us toward next season. Simply to give us a reason for revive Savathun. I have doubts that Xivu will be anything other than a plot device for another while. I hope Bungie is able to provide some useful lore narrative over the next season. Being drip-fed what the Veil was over 2 seasons (without a definitive answer) is just bad. I've been checked out of Destiny the last 2 months. I log in to hear the Veil Containment stuff for the week, and I log off.

Probably will be Xivu they'll probably start building her up this year like how they did for Calus and Savathun then we fight her at the end then we fight The Witness for the raid maybe I'm just guessing but it seems likely

​@@emmanuelreyes502 main problems with that. Firstly you'd have to convince caital and her cabal to follow suit, and given their warrior culture they absolutely will not do that. And secondly all xivu has to do is make a move on the last city
