Are you tired of leaf springs? Our exclusive bolt on long arm design is now available with 4-Link Rear long arms for your XJ as an upgrade to your existing lift kit or included with a lift kit. In addition to the new long arms, you'll get 2 new subframes, a rear axle truss, and axle brackets which will be used to eliminate the leaf springs. This is a fully adjustable, double triangulated kit that will correct your rear suspension geometry. Just like our popular front Rock-Link long arms, you'll have the ability to install the subframes with NO welding, cutting or grinding at all! You'll only drill holes for the BOLT ON subframe that is CNC brake formed from 1/4" and 7-gauge steel plate. The only welding required for this is to the rear axle! As always, it is all made right here in the USA!
Designed for 4"-8" of lift, this long arm system will allow as much articulation as your rear shocks will allow! We use a high quality greaseable, pivoting flex joint on the axle side for great flexibility and factory style rubber bushings on the axle end to absorb road noise.
Kit Includes:
Complete rear long arm package (Rear Upper and Lower Adjustable long arms)
Subframe Mounting System
Rear axle truss and brackets
Coil spring retainers
All necessary hardware

About Iron Rock Off Road:
Taking our vehicles out and pushing them to their limits has always been our passion. Yes, we have found boundaries! There is a boundary in how steep a side hill you can traverse, how much shock load a driveshaft u-joint will take, how much force it takes to bend a suspension mount. Our experience with finding the weak links in factory Jeeps drives us to design products to go beyond boundaries.
Jason, Darrick, and Josh founded Iron Rock Off Road, Inc. using these simple principles as their plan to offer the best products for your vehicle, period. Since founding in 2005, IRO has quickly grown to be a top choice for off road enthusiasts around the world. Our dedication to service, quality and new product development are the primary reasons we have been able to maintain a successful growth trend in each year of our existence. We are continually adding new parts to our product line that are both designed and built here, in Shakopee, MN. Each product is carefully drafted using Pro Engineer and Auto CAD software before prototypes are built for testing. We test all of our products on some of the most demanding and punishing trails in the U.S. before offering them for sale to the public. Quality and performance are "must have" qualifications for each new addition to our lineup. Our philosophy has not changed since the beginning. We design parts for the way we like to use our vehicles. To many, our products are overkill in terms of strength, but the fact remains: once you bolt in an Iron Rock Off Road product you won't have to worry about it. We guarantee it!

Been running this kit for about 1.5 years now and absolutely love the ride quality and travel. Just need to get limit straps sooner than later before I stress out a shock and break it. But very pleased with the kit in general! Was very easy to convert my Jeep to JK axles with your long arms.

@mountaincrawlers8 That's great to hear! Thanks for the positive review! How much lift and what tire size are you running?
@mountaincrawlers8
@mountaincrawlers8 Месяц назад
@@IronRockOffRoad 37s and roughly 7-8 inches of lift. Plan on stretching the rear with a doubler and lowering it a couple inches in the near future.

What travel length shocks can you use with these? I currently have 12” travel fox shocks and would like to reuse them.
@IronRockOffRoad
@IronRockOffRoad Месяц назад
@jordantrujillo293 The 8" rear long arm lift kit uses 12" travel shocks with a collapsed length of 29.5" eye-to-eye. The new shock position provides a huge amount of articulation as well as moving the lower mount up on the axle to get the shock further out of harm's way. You might need to swap those Fox shocks for some shorter ones.

Long arms > Leaf springs

@atwebb26 We still love our leaf sprung rigs but the flex and geometry improvement with long arms is hard to beat!

I bought and installed this kit a couple weeks ago. I got the whole front and rear RockLink kit, plus a front truss and the 4 link rear exhaust. HOW IN THE HECK DOES THE EXHAUST FIT UP? I have tried this pipe every which way around I can possibly think of.
@IronRockOffRoad
@IronRockOffRoad Месяц назад
@TheRealMikeWilly We will be doing a video on the XJ 4-link exhaust in this build series, stay tuned for that. In the meantime, check the instructions for the XJ 8" Rock-Link PRO, we have a picture of the exhaust kit installed at the end of the suspension section. If you need more help, you can always give us a call 9am-6pm central time and talk to a real person. 952-210-7185. We would be glad to help you! Or send us an email at tech@ironrockoffroad.com

Can you run the stock fuel tank? What about a CAT converter?
@IronRockOffRoad
@IronRockOffRoad Месяц назад
@ianmikelson4187 Yes, you can run the stock fuel tank with this kit. We have the tank removed for easier filming and because we removed it to do the frame stiffeners and haven't reinstalled it yet. Our 4-Link exhaust kit (product code 13888) will incorporate a catalytic converter and clear all the new suspension components.

Why not weld a nut to the bottom of the lower spring perch?
@atwebb26
@atwebb26 Месяц назад
How would you spin the carriage bolt?
@JBarnes917
@JBarnes917 Месяц назад
@@atwebb26 you wouldn’t use a carriage bolt, you would use a normal bolt
@IronRockOffRoad
@IronRockOffRoad Месяц назад
@JBarnes917 You could weld the nut and use a hex bolt if you want to. We chose to use a carriage bolt so that the bump stop would have a smoother object to engage rather than a hex bolt with sharp corners that could tear the bump stop. Tightening the nut is much easier if you install the shock after the spring. Then the shock isn't blocking your wrench.
