XK K130 is a good helicopter for 3D Aerobatics. Plenty of power and performance. however, its very fragile as well and every crash will break something. So be careful not to crash it. With its 6G mode its absolutely beginner friendly for beginners to learn to fly.

I absolutely have to get one as soon as possible...Been flying Xk 120's for like three years..So much fun. Max out the expo...That stock radio really does have all the adjustments...its just tricky to figure out. Also you can bump the throttle curve up a bunch.

You can see how well you can fly! I’ve been flying r,c Helicopters for 22 years and my XK 130 kind off scares me! My landing gear broke so I’m having to recut some plastic and glue the rear strut in a triangle like a goblin. I’ve owed every kind of helicopters of hard 3D for 18 years. Just now getting into edf’s which I’m going to go with the flex jet with vector thrust.

I’d prefer a more scale flying model 🤣 I’d crash right after takeoff with this thing. It’s faster than a racing drone!

Why did you not use te stock radio? What is the problem with it? I am planning to buy this XK K130 soon, but am busy saving up to buy the Roban Airwolf 800 size heli. This XK K130 will be used for flying indoors when the weather is bad. So I need to know why you did NOT use stock radio?? Can you giv me to Throttle and Pitch curves settings for this heli so can play around when I get it soon?

Stock radio sticks are not too good. there is a lot of dead band and free area which makes controlling helicopter pitch really tricky. and causes crashes. also its difficult to program. If you really want to keep this heli flying good, better get BNF to Futaba and thank me later

I am buying a Graupner MZ-18 Radio, which has HoTT (Hopping Telemetry Transmitter) I did see it supports FHSS, but must make double sure. Will use Graupner to bind to XK K130 heli. The Graupner MZ-18 has a color touch screen 3.5" and is very good German brand. I am currently saving up to buy a Roban Airwolf 800 size heli in September. I want this XK K130 to fly indoors when weather is bad. Can you tell me who the manufacturer is, as I want to tell them to fix the Radio and sort all the problems out.

XK helis have built in Futaba SFHSS Compatible XK Receiver. Unless your radio can transmit on SFHSS and is futaba protocol compatible. you are not going to able to use it. So nirvana is a totally no no

Hi, u said if we’re moving from 4ch to 6ch, this heli is not the most suitable. But what about if i have no plan to do 3D, only plan to install scale fuselage around the k130. Would it be ok? Because i prefer this kind of size. K120 is too small for me.

If you wanna install scaled fuselage and fly only scaled without aerobatics then it's a good choice to go for K130. You can set dual rates and expo to make it docile and easy to control, beside in 6G mode it's really easy to control. And with all it's power it will lift added weight of scale fuselage just fine.

Will the k130 bind to the k110 tx? Banggood has comments that say it does and it doesn’t so I’m confused.

In fact it should bind. Because all XK radios and receivers are using same protocol.

K130 has built in Rx. so its difficult to do what you are trying. and they do not sell without rx. you will have to do some online research and see if someone has done this yet. check on RCG Forums

Pop a little crazy pony fpv cam in it there tiny and easy to solder to the board to power it ive done it but ypu get a wibbly wobbly picture because of the vibration i did it to a flying thingy from the terminator film

I set mine accordingly onto my 14SG, but when I’m trying to flip the Heli it won’t let me, seem like it’s on 6G Mode still. How do get it out of 6G mode? All my throttle curves, pitch curves are set accordingly, what am I missing?

set the Gyro rate settings to change with idle up modes and in idle up 1 gyro rate should change below 45%. then futaba sends signals to switch heli to 3D mode to flip. I have a video on this somewhere recently with these mini helis.

No it doesn't. It keeps good power all the time. Maybe I was running low throttle curve in the mid

As a heli guy, it's a shame that RTF helis come with such mediocre radio which 99% of the time gives beginners a bad experience (even major US brands here). It is not the manufacture's fault, per se, because it is a cost savings thing. But heli hobby is a 100% dedicated hobby, since it is both expensive and a high learning curve, and only a good radio will do.
