This Brushless RC Helicopter comes completely RTF and is so awesome right out of the box! It's been a long time since I've flown anything like this, and even so I still don't have much stick time at all on copters than can fly inverted (maybe less than 10 flights total on CP helicopters). Talk about shaking off the nerves to make this video happen, WOW! I for one am so happy this sleek looking helicopter made it back down to earth in one solid piece!! Happy Flying everyone!

Great job you guys, and congratulations on becoming a new parents! I have the XK K 130 as well, bound to my Futaba 14SGH Radio. I used to be so active on this hobby and already doing some crazy maneuvers flying Heli’s but when my wife got sick had to stop flying, and didn’t fly at all for more than a year or so. Bought the XK130 to retrained my muscle memory hopefully this little fella brings back good memories. Love this Heli, rock solid and flies great. Haven’t taken mine out in the open field yet, to do some good flying. Just got done with settings, Gyro rud gain especially but I can tell this Heli is a blast to fly. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for all those awesome vids. Regards from Cali!

I've been flying the XK 120 and 110'S over my avant,align's and freya's! I can't wait to purchase this 130 because of power! I've gotten down tic tocking tail funnels with my 120's can't wait for XK to put a brushless motor on the tail! But love the easy build and tail motor changing plus I fly Futaba. Radio awesome performance of the 130 so something to get on the 1st.

My buddy that got me into drones started out with a helicopter. It was a kit he put together himself, about 3x the size of this one. He got good enough with it he would fly it in his house! He's a much better drone pilot than I am, and I consider myself a pretty fair pilot. He can (and has) fly circles around me though. --- I have drones and cars, I guess what I would like to try is planes. Boats too since I live right next to water, but I don't see much challenge in boats.

Cool video,I think it's cool that y'all keep it family friendly and take the baby along. I love flying my Dji Phantom 3 and my mjx bugs b2w. Just bought me a wltoys a979b and did some upgrades love rcing now. Also have a little air hog chopper I fly in the house,just need a boat now. Keeps the good videos coming.

@@TheRcSaylors I can relate :-) Sadly, living in the Philillipines., I gave up on Banggood. Even though they claim "in stock" and "ships within 24 hours" The shortest delivery time has been 7 weeks. Always 30 days before shipping.

Great flying, Nate. That thing looks fun. Maybe next month. I've just today gotten three boats you guys have looked at (plus another yesterday). Two were not the same ones (the little 2.4GHz toy ones you ran in a tub), but Amazon has basically identical toys. They're great. My two littlest granddaughters were just happy as clams playing with them this afternoon. I only have one rotary wing aircraft, the Blade S 70 you re-looked a couple months ago. That thing is fun, but I also have chopper fear.

Great flying, really enjoyed it. Just want to mention, you said it felt like 6G didn't go back on when you flicked the switch: it doesn't! You have to stop the motor momentarily to go back into 6G, it's the one big weakness of this heli vs the K110.

Ali Shanmo reviewed this heli, and said it’s NOT for beginners! He says the main motor has MEGA SPEED! Too much speed for beginners. In your opinion, can someone go from say a V911 to this heli? The other heli I’m considering is the Blade 220 v2. What do you think?? This will be my first CP heli? Thanks!!

This copter was setup badly out of the box. pitch on the rotor was set to negative in 6G. When landing when the throttle was chopped, it tried to drive into the ground. I would check throttle pitch and curve before flying!

Great job, Nate! Did you take a huge nap after the adrenalin wore off? LOL. I just ordered a JLB Cheetah truggy, my first RC ground vehicle since I was a kid. i also plan to get better at flying fixed wing (planes) this season.

I have nerve issue when i fly my V913 do to a short range. ANd very fast. The slow pace of a drone is miller time. I hope to fly a tru ck this summer

I bought the XK110 after you reviewed it for us. I haven’t flown it yet because I just bought the copter, thinking I would be able to bind it with my DX18. But nope. So I recently spent the extra $48 bucks on their transmitter, so I’m waiting for that to come in. Was there a huge difference between the two copters?

You can fly that in your front yard just practice hovering in different orientations and then practice doing figure eights then start doing inverted orientation hovering.. you’re building muscle memory and creating new neural pathways. You were flying that really good but will become better pilot by doing that.

TheRcSaylors local hobby shop that didn’t ditch RC helis is telling me his Heli sales are growing while drone sales are starting to decline. People are getting burned out on drones and switching to helis for the challenge. Definitely get Real Flight 8 Horizon Hobby edition, Horizon Hobby is the company keeping RC helis alive in the USA.
