Xochitl Gomez’s Finale Freestyle - Dancing with the Stars 

I loved how Xochitl’s Mexican heritage was incorporated into her dances like this one! She definitely deserved that mirrorball trophy!

One thing I noticed as I watched several more times is how the whole 2nd half of the dance how Val blended in with the other dancers and let Xochitl lead everyone on the dance floor. With nearly all the other contestants, the pros do most of the actual dancing and the stars do a fraction of the steps. But not with Xochitl. I've never enjoyed DWTS so much as I have this season!! You both earned it!!!

Incredible! Only 17 years old and this girl is a star! She has inspired so many young people out there that anything is possible! GO XOCHITL!

This is the reason why she won the whole show. From having no dance experience to becoming a professional in the end. I hope Xochitl is proud of herself because she had a lot of showmanship! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The moves, the facial expressions. Xochitl was just out there having the time of her life and it showed. And you could tell how much this meant to her to win. I'm so happy she won.

For my money, one of the most a ma zing performances in DWTS history. So unique. So classy. So sultry, unpredictable and precise. I loved seeing a totally different brand of dance represented and the staging and coordination of her, Val and the troupe around them was breathtaking. All of the accents and drops in the music was mirrored with the choreographed structures, pauses and mix of slows and quicks. Fabulous expression, brilliant control, professional standard of timing and transitions. Perfection. The right couple won. 10!!

This gave me music video vibes like they killed it. I love how Xochitl incorporated her Mexican heritage into the dance routine. Val's choreo was on pt all season. They 100% deserved to win it this season!

I still cant get over the fact that she is only 17. Like, thats a senior in high school! Just a baby as far as Im concerned....Im 61. Ha! Her classmates must be so proud of her! And her famiky has to be over the moon! Congrats, young lady!!!!😊

Xochitl and Val are flawless in this marvelous Freestyle. I mean come on, in the start of their freestyle, Val plays Violin to perfection. Xochitl is dancing with the other pros with so much confidence, like she has been a pro all her life! After all that, they deserve the win. I am so so happy that Xochitl and Val won!

I voted for them like 30 times in the final and It was my first time voting in a long time. Since the beginning of the competition I wanted them to win, because I saw something special in their partnership; Something that you didn’t saw in other couples.

I’m so happy for Val because he said that she brought back the fun in the ballroom for him. I remember there was a point where he said he was not coming back to the show, i think? I’m so glad he did. He’s just a flawless professional and so creative. These two really had fun and she got to learn something so awesome, ballroom dance!
