Thanks for this informational video. Need 2 clarifications - Will the Odometer reset to 0 after 999 KM. And is your Replay in 3D feature still working, mine always gets stuck on the loading screen.
Hi I’m not sure about the odometer resetting after 999km. Yes my 3d feature was still working last time I checked. I’m away for a few days when I get home I’ll have a look at it and let you know for sure
I like the fact the app also shows the max speed etc, so you could install the gps on the inside of a body on the chassis preventing damage then look at the app to check Rc speed.. I might get one of these 👍
That’s exactly what I was thinking. If the rain holds off tomorrow I’ll be testing it out in an RC with it tucked under the shell. Thanks for stopping by Marc 👍💯💥
Hey Marc might not work as planned. I was looking into the instructions a bit deeper and it looks like the gps recording has to physically be stopped to sync the information to the app. Looks like the rain is going to hold off so I’ll be giving it a try this morning and will let you know
Depends what you plan on using it for. It’s original purpose is for use with bikes which the lag wouldn’t be noticeable. What I really liked about this one was the app. For a budget option another one I’ve used is the Meilan M4
Can this be a stand alone unit that doesn't use an app on a cell phone? I only want max speed per run. How about mounting it to a flat surface like RC vehicles have? Does that mount on the back hurt mounting it? Thanks.
You can change to mph right in the unit without having to connect to the App. 1. Turn on gps 2. Press and hold both buttons until you see P1 on the screen 3. then press the left button to scroll between kph and mph 4. Once you have selected the units of speed you want you press and hold both buttons to exit to the home screen
it would be great if devices like this could be used to track your bike if it gets stolen, shouldn't global position system be free already, instead phone companies wants you to pay a monthly fee for GPS tracking devices they sell of their own, what a rack.
