Goodmornin' Colin. I hope yer man recovers well, in time. God bless him and his. As an old-time analogue man, these new fangled XYX's and diagonal lines ha oll are "different". I'd dig any 'zip' tone, even a clipped 'zip'. If a machine came out that could show me a dinty scan image of "baby" it'd be ultra sound though. Imagine that? "I think I may dig this one. It has the look of an Edward1st d. 'Irish' (I can see long-shank's happy face in the inverted triangle)", or, "Look, fibula. Iceni by the looks"😉. Low wit sarcasm. Apologies. No harm meant by the symbolically dyslexic Cornish dinlo. Lovely rich soil Colin: pretty to my eyes. I prefer naturally fertilised pastures for hunting, the finds tend to come up less "singed" and it smells normal! Well done on the coins. Their age matters not to the true detectorist. That they are nice examples does, imo. That little buckle is a real beauty. That'd keep me happy by it's own self😊. Take care Colin and thank you😎🏴☠👊👍.
I’d say you’ve had some variety of analogue machines in your time Tim , and I’ll bet you’re a tone only man too , none of all that modern guff they load on to machines these days !! I’m still learning, but I think at the end of the day I just need to listen to the signals never mind numbers and XY graphs . As always mate thanks for your always honest feedback, 😎👍🏻
@@thecoinwhisperermetaldetec2523 Spent many years'nighting' Colin. I was a "bad boy" back-a-long. Secret: Keep using the same good machine. Refuse to go with the 'perceived obsolescence' flock. After a few thousand hours it sets you up for ever. No-one learned a foreign language over-night. We had the same language teacher for years at school. Penny drops in the end, if you haven't jacked already. Beaucoup; "Ecoute et repeter" That XPD2 is a beautiful tool, it exudes class and it talks perfectly. Listening is free.😉
@@thecoinwhisperermetaldetec2523 My advice to you Colin, for what it's worth. Keep hold of your XPD2. Do not, under any circumstances, be tempted by "perceived obsolescence syndrome", as I call it. That XPD2 is a superb tool. Over thousands of hours with the same excellent machine life lessons are learned, in respect of the discipline you are engaging with. It's never too late to learn, enjoy and be satisfied. 'Chop-changin' " fecks that all up, to Hell and gone, my friend😉😎👍.
Great video and finds and silver to start, New subscriber here👍 pinpointing with D2 I find target then drag Coul back until signal dissappear off front of coil then dig at front of coil and will be there centre of plug
Nice one colin, 2 silvers to start with, yer going well! like the wee button sorry buckle 😀 It's a wee beauty, not often you get one with a design like that, looks pretty old - Keep at it, Good Luck on your next👍
