A lot of people like the screaming and yelling with flashy sound effects and visual effects but I guess I'm boring, Guess that's why I never made it as an Entertainer 😂
You have that Deus 2 dialed in almost like it's an extension of your body. I love that Deus 2/uniprobe set up. I'm going to upgrade to that same set up you're using. The Deus 2 has a nice easy audio to listen to and it's depth is absolutely impressive on how it opens up those worked out spots all over again and the bonus is that it's where the older better targets are. Good job all your years of experience are showing in how you dialed in that detector to that level. If it's digging deep like that you really have a chance of hitting something at any previously productive sites. I hope Deus takes care of you if they develop a new detector because I made my decision watching these side by sides and it 100% sold me on the Deus 2
Thanks for the kind words and we will definitely be doing some more side-by-sides with the Manticore this coming week. There certainly is a learning curve with the D2 but certainly worth taking the time. As of right now it's my go-to land machine.

Yes I find the general works great and I just tweet the sensitivity up to 95. I like the reactivity at 2 an auto-response at 4. This way I'm hunting the low and high conductors and I'll switch over to 4 or 40 khz to get a clearer signal in mono
incredible when there have been 1000s of detectorists over a site like this....and you can still slam dance on it like you did!! it is even more rewarding that way to me....AND all the zipperheads that came before you cleaned out lots of the trash and clad//etc so it actually is easier to hunt a roached out site when you have the capability as the D2 affords....well done!
When the CTX is your backup your all in on the Hobby! Impressive the D2 I think I'm sold. I've been wondering how much better it would be then my ORX and it sure looks like it goes deep and unmasking is amazing. I thought you had a half dime for a second nice find.
Interesting. I'd be curious to see how it looks compared to an original. This one was deep in undisturbed dirt so I'm pretty sure it's from the turn of the century.
Great video, I love my Deus 2 and the sound it gives in respect to audio target ID. Some nice finds. What settings have you found to work best for you, I see you are using General and 4k in this video?
I like searching in general with the sensitivity tweaked up. On the high conductor Parker's I'll switch over to 4 khz and if it's a lower conductive Target I'll switch to 40 khz. I'm finding my doing this I can really tell whether or not it's deep iron or a good signal fairly accurately. I'm going to get into this a little more in the next video
Hi Carter, nice vid. I’m guessing you’re still using version .6? and wanted to know if you’ve taken it diving yet. I know you thought the GB was to high in an earlier video for salt but I’ve found no problem using it fully submerged up here in the northeast and in south beach this pastDecember. She’s very smooth after doing a gb actually in the water with coil in a foot of water. Also in your head to head target comparisons has either the Manty or the 900 found something good or deep that the D2 called junk? My guess again would be no. Absolutely love the D2 and just bought another
So far the D2 hears everything the Minelab's hear. I'm taking it diving but had issues with the upper shaft so I'm waiting to get the carbon-fiber setup and then take it diving again. I should be filming in March with the water temp near 40
Years ago it was going to a local library but nowadays just Google a location you want to know about and type in town history or historic photos. Good luck!
Can’t wait for Sunday. Selling my Deus 2 and putting the money towards a car. XP are missing in action with the update. I find them very reluctant to engage with the public so for that reason I’m out. I like a company I buy off to engage with its customer base.
@@hubsi5263 I’ve found quite a few ancient silver coins with it here in the U.K. and a gold one. But it can’t cope with our mineralised sites here. So many people say the same thing people who are in the trade even. Lots of them. Whereas my Deus 1 with HF coil kills it on those sites. Maybe if XP spoke to us instead of letting the distributors carry the can I’d havea bit more patience. Hopefully get a Nox 900 soon to run with my Deus 1.
@@TonesquadProductions is not a case of a detector or a car. Every Detectorist needs both. I’ve got another car now and still got my Deus 1. My sponsor is sending me a Minelab tomorrow too. I’ve been detecting 34 years. That Deus 2 update still hasn’t arrived I see.
