One thing I would suggest is using the pitch mode. The audio can help you with troublesome trash and aluminum. It will have more of a forced sound and won’t sound smooth like a coin or ring. You do run the risk of missing target at 60-64. Definitely will miss things not digging below 50 lot of gold rings and chains will come in under 50. Learn the audio on pitch and you will definitely become a lot better at identifying the troublesome targets from the good targets. Let me know how it goes and best of luck and hope that helps! 🍀👍😊

Yea I do get fooled from time to time but it seems I will get more of the grunt on 3 on the rusted ones. It’s something I am going to test more for sure. 6.8 is what I prefer and what I have seen works for me on my beach that’s why I said these settings work for me on my beach 🏖. Raising discrimination always adds more filtering so there will be a trade off. But if 8 works for you and you are not seeing any depth loss then by all means use it. Every beach and site is different adjust your settings for your situation. My Deus 1 began losing depth once I got above 10 on discrimination. What I have found at 6.8 is that it really helps me in target separation on iron sites. The tonal nuances are better set at 6.8 as well and I can identify pieces of aluminum trash in pitch tones. But again use what you like these were just settings that I use and have been very successful with. Thanks for watching and thanks for the question.SRA
