That aluminium slag is melted cans. Thrown on fires by people too lazy to walk to a bin , bits break off and the sand wears it smooth. It's everywhere on the beaches near me.

It wouldn't be a beach hunt without a toy car. But I remember the amount of aluminium on the beach is unreal so I know your pain. Although I did get about £25 lol. I like the top end of that beach. Better luck next time.

The problem with the beaches with rock groynes in the UK is that the sand is deep and has been pumped in along with countless bits of broken up bits of targets used in WW2 which are aluminium or other alloys. So you mostly get s.. crap or Pull Tabs. Also less cash is being used so fewer modern coins too. But it would have been interesting to do depth tests between the ORX and D2 with various coins like 5p 20p. 50p 1 pound. On wet sand and very wet near the waters edge. I have been using the Nox on Field 1 right in the wet sand by the waves and it worked really well, which surprised me. 👍🏻

so are you saying, if we want to find ringpulls, get a D2? 🤣. I dont think any machine could have found anything good on that beach. looks rather quiet with not a lot of things that require money being spent nearby. maybe next time Steve 👍

No, what I am saying is that there are a lot of litter louts who don't take their cr@p home with them and your Nox 800 would have found just as many beaver tails 😂Yeah you are right in that that part of the beach is bare, will hit the money area next time.

Hello, unfortunately the ocean noise is louder than the detector. I can hardly hear the sound of the detector. Therefore the whole thing is quite boring, sorry ...... What I find positive that you have deposited the program settings in the chat, top! I would also like to be at the sea and the beach now, I envy you 😊
