Cops are expected to behave and act better than the average person on the server, that's why they have these powers and that's why they're immune from these consequences of being "lootboxed" and stuff, but the reality is they just abuse that like a bunch of grinder virgins and don't do their job for shit and they pretend killing people to secure the vault money is "good cop RP" You see 100x more integrity and fairness in criminal RP even when they're in conflict with eachother. Admins should try removing commands from police and give them to criminals and see how it goes for a week or 2, would probably result in a lot less power abuse than giving it to the cops and a week or 2 of good RP for once until the PD starts shooting civilians in protest of their PG powers being taken away In the real world, the police are the trustworthy ones with everything to lose, but on nopixel the cops are all a bunch of 50 viewer leeching inbreds and the criminals are big streamers who are sensible and mature enough to respect other streamers' content and just in general way less scummy so they won't ruin their content over like... 5k or a vin scratch or a W or something.

@@Kaizuk0hakupac handcuffs arent combination locks. They use these things called keys and irl you can take those keys off a downed officer so in NP when an officer is downed and you need their keys they're supposed to just unlock shit for you. They do this with doors too.

There's a large portion of the PD that doesn't even attempt to RP. Its really sad to see what NP has become simply because of the PD.. Reason its full of terrible RP'ers is from them hiring in a rush to make the PD to Crim ratio closer. Basically they barely vet the people joining PD to make sure they can actually RP well. Its not like you want the group who will be interacting with the most people to know how to RP for a RP server.

The cop has his own world too, his own content too, how many times was X downed and categorically refused to RP, mother fucker i lost count. so this cop has a bad time as well, and does what X does (not even to X's level) and you all jump on him like hyenas. I was watching Buddha's stream when this happened. He was not even close to malding. He was telling X to let it go and just find someone who has ass lockpicks. I wasn't even this was an issue until seeing this video. It didn't seem like it was from Buddha's POV.

That is rp...u actually have crazy people in IRL too that wil shoot cops or even get out of their way to make cops look bad...but RP from this cop -1 ..anybody can just pickup a key from a died cop ..yes its more jail time if you get caught,but u can pick up the key from his pocket and use it..sadly the game doesnt do that and the cop knows that.

This is the equivalent to that. If that's what would happen in real life, shouldn't all involved do what they can to facilitate that?

That them telling you they are taking the keys off of you. Yes you have to use your functions so you can “give them keys “. Just like if I have a bunch of people riding with me and they say they need keys. I can say ok cool. I’ll just leave them in the ignition if anything goes south. So you use the function give keys. I mean cuz who carrying 4 spares keys to a car. They are just rping the best way they can within the functions that are available. Sometimes they might not have a function to do something. Like throwing something over the door. So they pretend they are throwing it over the door and sit it on the ground so it can be picked up.

The cop's not actually RPing though. You could realistically lift the keys off an unconscious cop and unlock cuffs, but the game mechanics don't allow it. So X tried to get the PERSON playing the cop to rez, unlock the cuffs, then re-die for the sake of theoretically 'roleplaying' lifting the keys and unlocking it themselves. The cop refused, then logged out. It's pretty simple.

thats why he told him to rez, uncuff, then go down again. cuz in rp he had the key he just physically couldnt do it since thats not a mechanic

doesn’t matter. IN RP: X used his hand to reach into his pocket to grab the key to unlock the cuffs himself. The DOC idiot could have easily revived himself to allow the RP to flow smoothly (unlock the cuffs then lay back down)- but he instead types Z’s and let’s them sit there for 10 minutes. Hope this clarifies.
