@@omarleon6691I mean I picked up a CSL DD for my first wheel, and I don’t regret it. (Mid range DD) Yeah I’m slower than people with cheaper wheels but they have years on me, and that’s what I can focus on. I don’t understand why he doesn’t have a better set up. Not saying a whole motion rig just even better pedals and a decent wheel for the feedback
As silly as it sounds, this is actually a great mindset he has. Very important to study and understand what faster drivers are doing to improve. I also will say, it's totally fine he stays with the Logitech stuff for now. No reason in upgrading when he is still trying to figure out if he likes the hobby or not, and a cheap wheel like that is very easy to setup and learn on.
Brother he got 100 million dollars off of his contract alone him spending 20k on a racing setup is like me and you spending 100 bucks to eat a fancy dinner
he's watching replays pretty much solely to reason out why everything isn't his fault and is ACTUALLY the other drivers fault. im unsure how this is not counterproductive towards improvement. he's dive bombing t1 @ laguna off the line, blames the other guy who was forced to move inside (still pretty on the racing line) because some guy infront was lagging. he sees it 3x, goes into other persons cockpit, sees his situation and goes NO OK CHAT I DONT WANNA HEAR IT, NOT MY FAULT, TOTALLY THIS GUYS FAULT! im not complaining tho i love watching noobs blame other ppl esp in 1k irating races
G29 is the most practical wheel for streaming and casual simracing I dont even want to upgrade it just because of how convenient it is for streaming it would be a pain in the ass to have racing streaming setup
He’s getting much better at a good rate. He can still improve a lot till he kindve flat lines. Should be able to gain a couple seconds a lap still in a couple of weeks
As an iRacer for over 10 years im actually impressed with X's progress. He really needs to work on his braking though. He stabs it so hard and unsettles the car like crazy. If he gets his braking down his irating will skyrocket.
i think its his chair tbh. if he presses it like normal his chair rolls backwards, so hes putting top down pressure on it, and its harder to feather it.
He’s on a g920, and on his rolling chair, I can understand why, it’s pretty hard to be precise with the g920 brake, besides his braking I’m honestly amazed how he’s doing
you watched tips from youtube. you cant apply what your learn, youre still following the racing line. turn that off and youll see how those tutorial really works.
Bro needs to turn racing lines off. There is literally a car in the middle of his line and instead of going right he goes into the car because he's following the line lmfao
he’s got quite a bit of potential, i mean his steering inputs are incredibly smooth which is great to have early on. i don’t know shit about xqc but for some reason i enjoy his iracing content.
So you basically just cut corners and spend more time driving on the outside perimeter than on the actual road during turns, lmao, what a great sport. You should have to stay on the road at all times. This is worse than basketball where intentionally fouling is a strategy near the end of games
@@ThePgR777 He would spin out or not get ready for any turn in any capacity at all and either crash or go well out of bounds of the race. People will criticize xQc even if he was the best iRacing driver there is.
@@pagirios2285 when did i say i was surprised lol he plays different games every stream and he's shit at every single of them but he actually got much better on iracing. he played iracing couple of years ago as well but he never got better then
Whatever happens with his iRacing journey, elitist backseat drivers are inevitable and hopefully wont deter him from continuing. (This is coming from a 3k rated driver) y'all leave him alone and let him have his fun. He's a got a massive audience and publicity will never be not good for iRacing.
X thinking that first collision is the other guy's fault is comedic. Literally only needs an ounce of common sense to see that he just dive bombed for no reason
7:14 he is lifting in that section as a way to get the car to turn into the corner. When you lift off throttle the weight of the car gets sent forward and the rear pivots around the front meaning you can decrease the radius of your turn without understeering and losing momentum.
@@shaynejenkins446 Never say never. He also got a learning experience from chess grandmaster HIkaru. It's not like he was even close to him. The skill difference can make it interesting.
@massapin9293 coming from somebody who's getting podiums in LFM league on Logitech wheel. Look at comparisons from e-sport drivers comparing multi thousand $ rigs and entry level Logitech. Obviously, there are differences, but you can still be very competitive with entry-level kit. All about technique and skills. Equipment is secondary.
if he even got the moza r5 i think he could be even better. i wasn't expecting to see such progress from the first few times i seen him play it for the first time. actually impressed.
I've been playing 3 years now & X's progress is amazing, he gotta little problem with stabbing his break & up setting the car, if he can ez more into it then he will shoot up in irating.
X doesn't understand that when he overtakes inside on the corner it's another driver's fault to turn into him, they get a notification to stay in their line
my favorite part is when he watches the tutorial video then after two laps completely disregards 80% of the video and starts taking chatters advice, never gonna get better XD
Once he can listen to chat and turn off the stupid useless line, and take turns at full speed he will be good, but he keeps following that damn line and making him slow.
My first time engaged with an xcx video, yo why is this guys chat actually so stupid bro most of the time from what I can see so far his actually asking logical questions and his chat is giving him the wrong answers 😂
Relax your shoulder so you get a better feeling of the FFB turn off the racing line so you can focus on your breaking point and not the line except that ice drive keep grinding dude and change your wheel ngl it will help you a lot actually you'll receive better info' from the car and the track
i know this is good for the simracing community, but at the same time... dude, the ton of people that will come to just crash everyone as this was need for speed...
been enjoyin the iracing streams and watchin him develop, but holy shit the ass amounts of huffing copium on every incident hes at fault is insane, mans is the ultimate victim andy when hes pressed
felix should get summit back to mx5 racing im sure summit can teach him alot and would be good content direct drive wheel and proper pedals would also improve his time if he can even press down a proper brake setup
watching him and reading his chat infuriates me so much, everybody in his chat acts like they are so much better than him. Even if they are better than him they need to learn to not insult him but to give him constructive criticism.
@@ziraltestaria I mean, the guy could literally buy a 2nd home, but an entire trip back to LA to go to that track would be an insane IRL stream and experience for him!
Is the censorship of chat in the first seconds of the video cause if any swear or obscene words are detected by youtube, the monetization and relevance is reduced?
at first i was watching out of curiosity, then to see him argue with strangers but now it actually is pretty fun. i only played nfs games and gran turismo so sim racing is interisting to watch
I like cars. I drive cars. I work on cars. Its kind of boring for me that he doesnt take the step. Hes on a cheap sim. He has the money to go to the track and actually learn. It makes me a little nervous watching him learning so slow jaja
this guy doesnt have the patience for iRacing I dont think, and even if he does, I dont think his community has the attention span. If he is serious, he should invest in a solid rig like the Simlab P1-X pro. Since he likely has the money, a simucube 2 pro and simucube active pedals seem like the best option for him
He was an overwatch pro at one point. He's just not paying attention when watching WR laps to what gear they are in at each turn, whether they tap the brakes or just lift off, and doesn't have the knowledge/experience yet necessary for more precise control over the car.
X needs to get himself a proper rig with all the physics simulation, it's like $30,000. Pain in the ass to move I'd imagine so he's never gonna get it Sadge. Bro is rich as hell but doesn't buy any cool stuff.
