it's hard when the crowd is in saudi. the crowd are mostly oil tycoons/high salary people, they come with a bit of decorum. they don't scream as much as crowds with nothing to lose.
you think high salary ppl will go to these event everyone thinks every saudi has oil field and has millions in his account thats just dumb thing to say i agree with you the crowd is silent its the first time an event held there and most ppl are new to these kind of things and tickets arent that expensive so i dont understand and what tf you mean with nothing to loose crowd has noting to win or loose
@@spook407I think their point was about the nature of the crowd than the crowd itself. As an expat living in the middle east, I can say the public here tends to be more on the conservative side. They don't like to be flashy or like standing out at all, atleast not vocally. They are much more comfortable keeping to themselves. This might or might not have to be related to the money or the privilege someone has. So, the op isn't technically wrong.
@@Adam-lc8szwhy don't you just watch counter strike championship? Don't you think its abit stupid to click on xqc's reaction to it and get annoyed that he reacts to it? You are here because you're a fan of xqc. No need to be ashamed about it bud😂 you can deny it, yet your actions prove you wrong. If you didnt want to hear from him you wouldn't be here😂 you've almost commented 30 times on this channel brother. Who you kidding?
@@lukejax1407. Nah bro, that’s not how it works. I’ve been a big fan of X since 2018 and I skip his yaps ALL the time, bro gets overly excited sometimes and starts arguing with air. I’m not tryna listen to that shit 90% of the time lol
50:44 I see no one knows this, but the reason m0NESY reacted before seeing him, was because he did see him. Theres a tiny pixel gap the end buttom of the staircase, where you can see if someone crosses that. He saw the person cross but wasnt ready to actually shoot.
To be honest, even tho the prise of this tournament is 1M (in total) this doesn't feel like a big tournament. It felt more like a tier 2 event. Maybe it was because the crowd was mostly silent at every game except the final, or maybe it was because it was poorly organised. The observer doesn't show all of the important frags and replays.
There is no real definition for "tiers". But this is definitely a t1 tournament, since the best teams were playing there. Online officials are considered t3.
Regarding X's question on Nuke about taking fights as a T after the bomb is planted. They were checking common spots and players happened to be there, they might even catch CT's offguard since they are focused on getting to the bombsite. Always better to damage and stall opponents as much as you can.
and 100% navi coach giving comms. like when g2 was stacking b side no one from g2 pushed and they spammed molly nade and flash but when there was only 2 people on b another round he was going to throw his flash but decided to save it? On inferno. nahhhhh chicken pc forsure
navi strat: lose first game, win next two. Blade timeout = gg . Also, I cant believe Awful(x) didn't support his old teammate Wonderful. save him brother
Dota 2 being part of EWC was such a downgrade from last years riyadh masters. Cut the prizepool into 1/3 of last years 15M and the stage and crowd was major downgrade as well. Disappointing.
true. its an even made by oilers. ofci ts sponsored. they have too much money. now they are ruining esports. first it was soccer with qatar. one of the worst soccer events. now this.
so much money but it showed the lack of competence and how saudi ppl DONT care or understand it. the whole tournament felt like 2015 DREAMHACK lmao. also mayonesy again losing since the team is filled with egomaniacs not teamplayers
The problem is not that, what anyone has done in that sense. It is just about bad promoing of this event, which does fall also on the country because the organizers work with local companies. Then the fact that the game is not even really popular in there so it means a small crowd who is compared to EU/US very chill with the crowd atmosphere. So excitment does not translate as to being a big event aswell. It is way differend when 200 people are modestly excited vs thousands Very excited. Then on top some of the rotating which players to show etc. it usually might be out-sourced to the people in country and if that feels lack-luster, then it Defininetly just is not a good choice to held an event like this there (that was good enough of job with that, but could have had some improvements). It is just about the tournament and how it translates thru the screen. Not about global politics and what country does what wrong on a bigger scale. Morality wise. It's just about the best for the event and how the game is promoted and comes off thru the screen.
@@aleksisuuronen5969 I disagree with you because literally, almost everyone hates this event cuz of what they think Saudi has done and the human rights thing blah blah, I agree with the improvement I think the event needs more international advertisement and they need to do it in winter cuz its soo hot in the summer.
