Plus notch seems quite happy nowadays, he updates everybody on small indie game projects and tweets alot about other random stuff that kinda seems that hes happy about. Sunny got one sliver of fame and decides to pump out as many "X persons downfall"

@Far Stox There's nothing that annoys me more than people deciding what is and isn't good music. Music is literally one of the most subjective things in existence, 'good music' doesn't exist. If you don't like it, that's fine, that's your opinion, but you'll find that most people don't actually give two shits about whether you like it or not, and would rather if you just said nothing.

Joji really pushed through all the BS and was able to be successful. RU-vid, his own community, his career, yet he was able to make music and make it big. Many RU-vidrs fall victim to their critizism like Jenna Marbles. Even now, people try new things and their communities hate them or cancel them. Joji could've loose it all in an instant.

14:52 there's a clip of Mike Diva, great vfx artist and music producer, editing a footage for a FilthyFrank music video who he's collaborating with and afterwards said that that's the only time he'll be able to let people see a snippet of that unreleased music video since he thought that was so offensive and if they released it it would hurt the trajectory and momentum of joji's career at that point in time. And at that time of the Hot Ones interview his Joji career was blooming and it was amazing. I'm pretty he had many other collabs as Pink Guy that had the same nature and couldn't be released anymore.

I never really watched FilthyFrank because I didn't really care about the edgy content, but I did watch Idubbbz and their collabs since they were in the same content sphere, and I remember hearing about the pink guy album that came out and was like "oh okay thats kinda sick" and then a couple months / a year later or something I heard from the same people about Joji along the lines of "you know FilthyFrank is Joji he made slow dancing in the dark" and at the time it seemed like a simultaneous transition of "this guy makes edgy music and lofi thats crazy" but then later realising that it really was just a transition of 'dogshit' content to full blown lofi artist. The reason I'm writing this is because it seems like there's a lot of people that had the same experience where they knew about FilthyFrank from how popular he was, and also knew about Joji after he got popular, and knowing that he was able to make that transition was relieving to hear / see.
