@@zachcattlee6233 Just dropped by to say that :-). Actually, I was searching for one of Lemmino's vids and stumbled across this channel. That dude puts in so much time and effort to make his content; it's just sad to see people try and profit from his hard work.
@@martyr3378 "Smart" is relative. What you have said is objectively wrong and in no context can be objectively right. In comparison to xQc, Albert Einstein is a genius, but in comparison to a newborn baby, xQc is a genius. For some people these videos are considered to be "smart" because they require a certain amount of knowledge that not everyone has to understand them. By definition, smart means to be acquitted with intelligence, yet there is so much that humans don't know that even the most intelligent people on this planet could actually be considered stupid.
Ay-Leck well actually my statement stands correct and all you have done is drawn false conclusions from incorrect presumptions. If we where to take a rationalised process and get down to a empirical descriptive claim my argument still stands as I will demonstrate. Taking the literal definition of smart it means to show a distinguished level of intelligence. Yes a distinguished level of intelligence is subjective to the group in question. But the thing I never asserted which group I was referring to and thus my statement can’t be proven objectively wrong if you don’t yet know what group I was referring to. Your rambling about Albert enstien or babies is completely arbitrary because I never stated my the group in question was XQC + baby, XQC + Einstein. The only logical conclusion you could draw to is that I was referring to either A, the RU-vid audience or B, everyone. Since you want to arrive at a logical conclusion about my statement we need quantifiable and empirical evidence. I know intelligence cannot be objectively quantified technically but for the sake of argument, let’s create our own metric system of measurement of intelligence (not iq points). 100 is average in this system and 160 is genius level. Like you said a baby would score 10 in this theoretical system and Einstein would score 160. Taking a safe estimate the general RU-vid audience averaged would be 100. Therefor smartness being a subjective descriptive term for someone significantly exceeding the average intelligence would have to exceed a threshold above 100. Now since ranges are better then average when working with varying data points let’s put the threshold of objectively smart given A, the group in question is the general RU-vid audience at 125+. This is a rational and reasonable threshold for when we can assert someone is smart given the average of the data points in question is 100.someone with the intelligence of 90-125 would understand basic scientific concepts etc, therefore you do not need to be in smart to understand scientific RU-vid videos. Therefor my statement transmuted to a descriptive assertion is objectively true given quantifiable evidence. The only way you could refute my claim in any way is if you have a problem with the figures I used or you try to claim I was referring to an alternative data group which is rationally impossible.
@@martyr3378 The video doesn't just demonstrate basic scientific concepts. If oversimplified, the video could be understandable for a wider group of people. However, the author of the video used a strong vocabulary with no explanation as to what they were stating. For some people the words said in the video were considered smart and for others considered basic. The same could still be said about scientific concepts. Your theoretical metric system is subjective to your estimates of the knowledge that the average RU-vid audience obtains which instantly refutes your claims. When I gave the analogy that you claim to be "arbitrary", I wasn't speaking specifically about your previous statements. I was creating my own demonstration to allow you to better understand what I had said before. It wasn't a comment on your reply but rather a simple elaboration to mine.
"Pog champ! we're all gonna die widepeepoHappy dud! Pog! no more life" - xqc when he found out an asteroid wiped out life on earth and killed the dinosaurs lul
Imagine you're just some alien cruising past in your spaceship when suddenly your radio starts playing Mozart or some shit cause some humans decided to send some music out to space.
Robbin No it emits sound, the problem is you dont hear it bc there is nothing close enough for the sound to bounce off of, so the only way to hear it is through similar technology to ours such as a radio.
jed d'angelo if they are advanced enough to travel between stars i highly doubt they are using the same radios as us. More then likely every thing they would have is quantum tech or better.
with the sheer number of planets existing i refuse to believe we are alone. to me i imagine aliens treating us like that little island in india especialy those heroglyphs in acient egipt maybe they tried got sick and then just study us from afar not to disturb our growth
@@luk4s56 the problem is, there's too many "maybes". Maybe they aren't contacting us. Maybe they are not as developed as us. Maybe they are far too developed for us to notice them. Maybe there's a civilization of dancing banana mushrooms. Anyone can say anything, and we won't be able to prove it because we just don't know. While there is certainly a chance there is another civilization just like us, there is just as great of a chance that there is absolutely no one. We can't be presumptuous in either way and we can't declare a side in an issue we have barely scratched the surface of.
@@kennylee6499 true, but observable universe is just a grain of sand, a speck of dirt compared to whats out there, and it that vast amout of galaxies, planets. there is no doubth in my mind there is another civilization. even the planets we discovered, it would not be surprising if right now there exists life somewhere but its so far away we seeing milions of years in the past.
@@kennylee6499 The chances of us being alone in the universe is next to 0 there are a trillion galaxies in the observable universe alone, and who knows how large the entire universe is. The real question is are we alone in our galaxy? physicists such as Brian Cox said there would be 1 to 2 civilisations per galaxy so your comment is completely correct when it comes to the milky way. Which I say is the real question because it is near impossible for us to get to other galaxies with what we currently understand about the speed of light so our hope is that there is another civilization in this galaxy, however to say we are alone in the entire universe is next to impossible.
Honestly if he watched more of lemminos videos and more of the ration/ science side of youtube with genuine interest he could grow in intelligence. Age should never be a reason to stop learning
I may be a little late, but i think having knowledge doesn't make you intelligent. I think those are 2 different things. But yeah you are right more knowledge doesn't hurt either.
@@hqrmony5051 Yea I watched a shit ton of his videos a while ago, but I keep forgetting about him because I keep running out of content of his to watch. But when it does come out goddamn is it good
i love lememmino because of his content and also i clearly understand what hes saying without subtitle ... i dont know what your talking about that hes speak gibberish... and im not a native english speaker...
xqc is canadian so what is his main language? french? im not a native nor fluent and i can understand what Lemmi is speaking about. tho my gramar is trash.
@@luk4s56 He is from Quebec, the french speaking part of Canada. They learn english in school as pretty much everyone else, but it is not his native language.
I'm fluent in English as well, but mental disorders affect by ability to understand what I'm reading. It's worse the bigger the words are. Even if I understand the big words themselves, throw too much together and it becomes even more difficult. Often times when this happens I still get the gist of what was said but that is not always the case. Fully understanding those big words could convey a deeper meaning and explain it better since it's more specific, but overall it just makes it more confusing for me. It's like I'm not suited for non conventional ways of speaking.
This guy... I feel like loosing brain cells while im listening to his train of thought, and then what is even worst is looking at how many followers he has, simply extraordinary.
oumuamua is actually suspected to be a much more common occurance given that it was discorvered very quickly after a telescope (or something) was constructed that could barely notice it. so once a telescope is made (one is in the making) that can easily detect such objects we might end up finding way more.
He isn't the sharpest spoon in the forest, but neither is the chat. Who are they even talking to, it's like they are just shouting words and symbols, but not in a conversation
The chat was confused on what type of civilization we are, we are type 1. We have forms of energy that will leave remnants of life, just like on Mars. However we have not created structures that will last for millions of years that can convey what are life cycles were like. Each type defines how well life can be conveyed that may or may not still exist.
We haven't even made type 1 civilization yet, according to the scale, type 1 is when civilization are able to harvest and manipulate energy completely of its home planet. We are at 0.7 (0.72 to be exact) in the scale.
It's scary how they could've been sending a signal for thousands of years or a cry for help and we couldn't do anything therefor the only chance for finding extra terrestrial things or aliens is gone and we are all alone for millions of years . It's weird because I could fall asleep to this but it is keeping me up just thinking about it
11:56 This is why we can't find aliens. By overcoming or becoming one with space-time, one could say they are already all around us and nowhere at the same time.
What if it's a black hole trying to suck in a planet and everytime it gets closer it gets louder and obviously it's very loud and those are the waves and the sudden silence is because it got sucked into a black hole.
“Imagine, dude thinking that the population that is killing their own planet is the only intelligent thing in the universe, absolute retardo” i felt that
That’s the thing I don’t get they send it to planets that can possibly support human life yet they don’t get that these are aliens and most likely evolved in different conditions
