@@Раналльдоyes. I always have to check sources to make sure it’s coming from someone with an education in Russian history. Especially since I enjoy studying Stalin’s time and there is much misinformation and exaggeration from western sources.

Also serves were obliged to work on lord's land (up to 6 days a week in worst case) and give part of their own harvest to lord (size of this part was set by lord). Because of all that in years with good harvest serf was rather well off, in years with bad harvest still bearable but not very comfortable and in consequentive years with bad harvest was hunger.

Пожалуй, худшего видео по русской истории найти на Ютубе не удастся. Солянка из большевистских мифов, клеветы на царя и откровенной дезинформации о положении дел в поздней Российской империи. Автор ролика, по всей видимости, черпал информацию не из серьёзных исторических работ, а от коммунистических и либеральных пропагандистов на Ютубе. Очень потешно.
