This video steps through the setup and approach I use for recording and live sound with my drums and the Behringer XR18 digital mixer. I go through each of the channels in the X-AIR Edit software and review how I approach each of the different settings and effects. There are a lot of different concepts discussed from gain staging, to gating, EQ and compression. As well as blending multiple microphones and the differences between condenser mics and dynamic mics.
