Good video, man I thought for sure my Arctic Cat was going to need rings. I got lucky and mine ended up being the valves. I adjust everything and compression went from 25 to 175.
I have a XR 200 also and it doesn’t get spark. I’ve changed the spark plug and spark plug wire and the CDI box and I don’t know what is wrong with it. I open the CDI cover, and the thing that holds the weights is broken. I don’t know if that could be why it’s not getting spark
Ahhh yes the Namura piston… they are great im two strokes a lot of people call them a pissed off piston very strong JE pistons are excellent as well i love weiseco but they melt in a lot of my 4 strokes
@@LilBJessup fuck ya it will be dosile like a tractor that goes anywhere but yet have some snap to it as well when you want it while also keeping everything together very well balanced pistons
Can you gain a lot by doing some performance mods on it. I consider this as my first project bike. What I am thinking is the following 220cc bore Stage 2 cam PWK or Mikuni Flatslide pumper "Racing" exhaust. 1 teeth smaller front sprocket Would a build like this do much difference from stock and how would the longevity of the engine be with these mods?
The xr is a pretty reliable motor, the cam and carb will help a lot, make sure the cam is machined to take a roller bearing and not just be set in the head like stock, as long as you keep the oil changed and full it is going to be reliable.
