I'm not sure if I'll officially participate in Sampler September- I'm currently stitching the Long Dog Samplers 'Variant of Interest' (among other things) and that's about all the sampler I can handle at the moment! (It's 198 x 424 stitches!). Happy stitching!
I am also knitting Stripetember socks. The colours and yarn are amazing. I have used up leftover sock yarns making toques with the yarn held double. Absolutely agree with the squish factor! Good luck with the final 10%. It's an amazing accomplishment no matter which 'deadline' you meet.

Yah! September. We have our Carnival Of Flowers over the next 3 weeks in Toowoomba. Stunning city gardens have burst into magnificent colour😊. Food and Wine festival in conjunction 🥂. I forsee a headache😂. I started the Violets chart last week and, as usual, the colours look even better in person.

I can't believe you're almost finished with Bewitched Park! It would have taken me the rest of my life to finish it 😂 I'm joining in on the OTGN fun this month as well, I haven't started the stitching yet, but I was able to get my first sock cast on! I'm also planning to try the Stephen West MKAL, it will be my first ever MKAL and I'm definitely a novice knitter so hopefully I will be able to manage! Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! And I cannot believe how close you are to finishing Bewitched Park. Last year (hubby's and my 10th year of being married), I stitched a piece to commemorate our 10-year anniversary, but it was nowhere NEAR the size of that! I'm sure you can't wait until it enters the wonderland of finished pieces. 😉
September - time for NEW things! Back to school, fall, new decorating, etc! Fun! Also sad!! I will MISS Summer! I LOVE the heat of summer!!! I LIVE for summer!!! So....bummer!!!! Ohhhhh, well. I LOVE the pattern After the Rain and now the new pattern! I need to get those and stitch them as well! I love those much more than another bird pattern that is really popular out there now! I much prefer what you are stitching over the other one....I just can't think of the name right now, sorry! How are you doing on your The Love Boats Sampler? I'd LOVE to see it!!! I also ordered it and stitched it as far as I can go I DID contact Ardith Designs. Ive run into a pattern error! MY fault for not getting my files to her SOONER, it's been about a weel and she's probably wondering!!! I need to do that tonight! A LOT has been happening in my life kind of spinning out of control a little but in a GOOD way! So, I've not had the chance to sit down and send my files to her - but I WILL tonight! So mine is 'almost' done, minus the dark blue water! Also a few flowers that are not fitting in above my boats, as well as the lock and key. My lock does not have an arch on the pattern, it just looks like a square. "That" is where I am stuck, so I don't want to stitch any more at all on it because I might have to remove something! Ugh!!!!! Noooo, please!!!! Otherwise, it's almost complete!!! Yay!!! I LOVED stitching that! It was so PRETTY to stitch on PINK linen!!! I changed my DMC colors a LOT! I had to to be able to make the flower colors POP! Otherwise, they were blending into the linen I got. I have been unsuccessful at putting in the hashtags on Instagram, as well! Arghhhh!!! Frustrating!!! WHY they messed with that, I don't know? I think it's WRONG!!!! They DO NEED to FIX IT!!!! Go BACK to the way it worked before! I agree with you there! I LOVE your DMC pink and pink pattern you are stitching! WOW!!! Beautiful!!!! I can't remember the name, now, sorry! It IS stunning!!! I wrote those 2 colors down to be able to reference back to them if I stitch something like that, as well! Thanks for sharing it with us!

We had a few days of unusually cool weather this weekend, and a bit of rain...it was almost enough for me to start a crochet project, but I checked the forecast and our temperatures will be back in the 90s in a few days, so I'm keeping to my stitching. I started I Am No Bird by Modern Folk Embroidery for Sampler September. I also have a HATS sampler going and a needlepoint project for a class I am taking. Loved seeing your progress on your big projects!

I am working on September's Revenge. I am loving the purples in it. I am going to be knitting my pair of socks in Socktober, so have not yet started those. I also plan on doing the Stephen West MKAL. I have a splurged and bought one of the kits.

I love Bewitched Park.. and I totally understand that feeling when you get close to a finish and almost lose interest in a piece. I had to chuckle when you said that you're drawn to pieces with big borders but dislike stitching them. I have the same problem with pieces with houses on them.. I love them, but I find houses SSOO tedious to stitch. It doesn't stop me from collecting charts with houses in them, though.... 🪡👠

September is my favorite month, I love fall. It is so great to see you have another flosstube out. Fun to follow your stitchy progress. I did Strawberry Fields Forever SN22 start. I also loved all the colors, although I did my own conversion.

September and wonderland. I am relieved to hear you say the ribbing is quite a chore for you too, I'm determined to knit socks but just doing the ribbing was so tedious compared to crochet which works up so fast! I find crocheting with black easy but I reckon I feel more than look at what I'm doing. Lots of people suggest white something underneath (same with cross stitching on black) or you can buy light up hooks which are fun!
Cannot believe it’s already been a year that you’ve been married 😮 congratulations!🎉 I’ve never participated in a cross stitch along, but the idea of seeing pieces of a beautiful wonderland appear sounds amazing! I live in snowy Vermont so that would be perfect on our walls most of the year. 😂
