Pixabay has recently updated their website downloading. It's still free, the download button is still green and located on the right side of the screen with a 1/2 arrow pointing down indicating more download options of resolution or file types. I recommend creating a log in account (also free) before downloading. Thanks for watching and hope this helps.

Hi there, do you have a tutorial on how to use a color photo and adjust it to b&w to engrave?
@thelaserchannel1

Hi- I don't have a video on using a color photo converting for engraving. I'll add it to the list of upcoming videos!

The lion behind you beautiful Where did you get the file? Parameters?
@thelaserchannel1
@thelaserchannel1 Год назад
Thanks! The lion image was a stock image from a long time ago... can't recall where I sourced it, but Pixiabay.com is a great resource for images! Settings- I used Grey Scale 0-100% at 100 mm/s this all depends on the type of wood used and the wood finish. Thanks for watching!

Enjoyed your video. Trying to learn as much as I can before my x tool arrives. Where it you get the wooden hold downs you used or did you make them?
@thelaserchannel1
@thelaserchannel1 2 года назад
Hi Jon- I have these two links- this first one is what I'm using, community.glowforge.com/t/honeycomb-bed-holdown-pins/18652 I just had to scale it to make is little smaller for the xtool honeycomb bed. Here's another one that should work: facebook.com/groups/xtoold1/permalink/3293173647672207 Let me know if either of them work for you! I used 1/4" birch plywood for mine. Dollar Tree plywood can also work with some size scaling! Enjoy!

Hi- I'm using the glasses that came with the laser machine. I have a number of laser machines and they all came with a pair of laser tinted safety glasses.

Do you have a cut file for the tee tie down?
@thelaserchannel1
@thelaserchannel1 Год назад
Cut file added to the description. Resize the t-pin as needed to fit your honeycomb; each brand has a slightly differently size.

Where did you get the air assist nozzle?
@thelaserchannel1
@thelaserchannel1 2 года назад
Hi- I purchased the assist kit directly from xtool. I came with the nozzle, air line, and pump which is really quiet. I wanted something I know would work and had all the pieces and parts!

Thanks! Here's the info-30" wide, 26" deep, and 12" tall. It's made from white shelving boards 12" wide; I also used 2 piano hinges and 1 2ft by 4ft 1/4 thick birch ply. I don't have any build plans as I built it on the fly! Enjoy 😀

Can you tell me how do I go about cutting out certain parts of an image before starting the engraving process? Because I want to engrave some metal cards with an image but they are already printed on and I don't want the image the go over the words. I don't know how to go about this
