Did all that coaching keep you from enjoying the car? I never heard it switch out of what I assume is third when you pushed it. As soon as you got on it I’d hear 3 2 1 brake. I was considering this but I don’t know about the non stop coaching.
Ya I had a blast! I booked a 992 GT3 at COTA in November. You ever watch rally racing? It’s similar with the co-pilot giving out commands for the turns. 2nd gear goes up to 84 MPH so it got down there in the lower speed accelerations. This is the type of experience many will not be able to do and can’t afford.
I had a great experience, I am excited to do it again this year in a GT3. The instructors are sitting and driving these cars for a living. They will feel when a car is not feeling right due to the drivers abilities. I had no issues with my instructor, if I had the ability to do a couple more laps I for sure would have been able to test more of the limits. But 3 quick laps is just enough time to have a good time and not get into trouble. Drivers with different skill levels will get a different experiences.
