Discloses hand size, prefered grip, shows mouse cam footage, talks about his performance + or - with the mouse being reviewed, talks shape and comfort. 10/10 Review!
Hey haus. Very good review. I bought an m4 after you answered me in a comment and I proudly say that after just a few days I got my first 4k badge in apex legends. (OFC a bit of luck too) Previously, I only had 2.5k. So i have to agree 100 percent regarding the aim. You have become the one to go to regarding mouse reviews! Would love to know the other mice that are your top 5 for aim. Very grateful that someone with professional experience makes such good reviews! I
i literally found and subbed to your channel like just a few days ago when looking at mouse reviews. i was looking at specifically the m4 and somehow the stars aligned and you uploaded a video about the m4 just after all this
Finally a reviewer who actually aims.. I love the shape.. though I've always heard that low weight mice is better.. I SUCK WITH IT.. lol always feeling the mouse is floating "due to the grip" which im trying to overcome it by using palm grip Anyway love your content and please do aiming/grip videos if you could xD
Instantly ordered when I read that it's an improved version. Sad to retire my retro version, but this might replace my outset ax when it arrives. Once again, great review :)
I clicked the notification bell... I fully expect to hit 1,000 subscribers by this time next week now :) Great quick rundown, m42 was always my preferred xtrfy shape, Tokyo m42 would be a day 1 for the collection.
Got this one to replace my g303. I can use pretty much the same grip (similar to Haus) ! So transition was rather smooth compared to other mice for me. The hardest was the weight difference, Took about a week to get used too. Great mouse! The cable is so good i don´t want the wireless for almost double price !
Looking at this video again made me want to buy the tokyo edition. Looks really cool. I have m42 and mz1 and already m4 glossy gray . But this limited edition is just too good to miss out on. Btw your beard is high quality
Love the look of this mouse and the M4 is one of my all time favs, but I wish it was matte instead of glossy. Unless I find it used for cheap, I’ll probably pass and just keep using my older ones.
now that you have tested the mdw and xlite wireless a well, how does the shape of this compare to those? is this more aggressive? i have a hand size of 20.8 by 10.5 and i like to use pincer/relaxed claw most of the time. I want to try out an ergo shape, and luckily i found a shell for G305 based on this! Should i stick to that shell swap or just upgrade to xlite wireless? Really want to try out an ergo (never tried ergo before, more of an egg gang) would really appreciate an answer, thank you.
This is a very aggressive shape, one of my favourite ergos, but not everyone uses enough time to get used to this. Xlite wireless is very good as well!
Everybody talks about the clicks and the shape... but I think it looks really damn good (I know thats subjective). Plus its also kind of a collectors item.. I want it... :D
Xtrfy may have already implemented the EZ Pro into the m42 and M4. My m42's cable looks an awful lot like the one in the video, and mine certainly does not like the ropey cables they had at launch. I got my m42 in May of this year.
@@hausgaming perhaps there’s a cable iteration in the middle. Maybe I don’t have the EZ Pro but something else that also isn’t the cable they used at launch. Having watched yours and others reviews on the m42, it is just not the same cable
Great video! I got curious when you said its a top three mouse, so I am wondering what is your top three mouse for aiming? And dont consider price or value, just the best ones =)
Is it better than the Vaxee NP-01s in aim potential especially in tracking, precision and flicks? Hand size : 18 x 9 cm, fingertip grip. I can spend time learning claw grip if fingertip does not work with these mice.
The xtrfy m4's shape is weird in a good way that it really feels low profile when you're holding it. I have a Zygen-NP01S and tracking can feel uncomfortable because M1/M2 feel way too high. Also, is the m4 a better shape than the outset ax or EC3-C in your opinion?
I love this mouse. I am currently trying to decide between this and the Zowie EC1-C as my main. I have to report though, that the M4 and the Fnatic Focus 3 seem incompatible. The lift off distance is so bad on that pad that I cannot use the M4 on it. The EC1-C on the other hand works just fine with it, so initially I thought the M4 sensor was just bad or I had a faulty unit. However, turns out the M4 sensor works fine on my GP4 coated. I think it might be the slightly shiny fabric of the Focus 3 that causes this problem, but I am not sure.
@@hausgaming The distance is much higher on the Focus 3. When I lift the mouse and put it back down, the sensor tracks movements that I don't want it to. I haven't been able to switch the feet yet, still waiting on the corepads.
@@hausgaming I have received my Infinity Hybrid pad as well as the LingYang, and I can confirm that the LOD of the M4 is much too high (well above one DVD!). Not as bad as on the Focus 3, but still bad. I think I need to return it.
I'd say endgame gear XM1r for your hand size if you are an average claw gripper (or even relaxed claw). Or the shorter Burst Pro if you are a Pincer/Aggresive clawer. Both of these mice have the bump towards the butt/back for better support while claw gripping while M4 has the hump centered. Haven't tried the M4 honestly, so Haus will have to weight in he has reviewed these 3 mice. IMHO the M4 is a risky shape being so ergo, so it either works for you and love it or does not and hate it. Same with Xtrify MZ1 Zy rail.
@@marouanenaciri9247 Well if you want a smaller mouse than the burst pro to dabble into fingertip with agressive claw as a back up the Xtrify M42 is quite safe choice with the swapable back cover (2 shapes for the price of 1), shame they don't have the new paracord like cable. But really depends on your grip and hand size, like Haus I have 19x10 hands but my fingers are skinnier, aggressive pincer claw and like Haus I'm going for smaller mice and wireless, getting Razer orochi V2 for me this holiday season waiting for a sale. Unless Endgame gear releases an XM1r mini that is hehehe! Edit: But I do have ergo mice I palm for browsing or playing single player chill vidyagamez to not kill my wrist, razer Naga trinity so comfy.
All of the options that Frencho9 said are great, I prefer the M4 over all of them. M4 is a very good ergo for claw grip, I feel it's a very natural claw grip mouse for an ergo. I can't really predict which will be the best, but whatever one you get use it for 2 weeks. I feel the M4 can be good for a lot of people as long as they give it some decent time to get used to the shape!
