Ok so I think I’m now regretting my decision on my purchase of the XTR1 for my truck. There was absolutely no mention of a back order of parts when I made my order. I’ve called, was told that their picking up parts later that day and will ship it right out, that was a week a half ago. I’ve e-mailed and got no reply at all from customer service. I called again and spoke to others that said they will find out when it will be shipped out and text me back, but days have gone by and no text. My order was placed over a month ago now, cancelled a planned trip as well. I hate to keep bugging them. I do understand that I’m not the only customer, but if you say you’re going to do something then do it. Get back to the customers that have paid you and let them know what is going on with their order.
What’s your order number? Lead times are just a part of building a rig but I get the communication part of it. I also never recommend banking on something arriving in a certain timeframe for a trip. Been there done that and it’s just not a good idea when building a rig. I can reach out to xtrusion for you though if you get me your info.
Looking at this rack for my build.... would you say it’s pretty easy to pop the back crossbar off ? Looks like just a few bolts. Xtrusion says it’s not removable but that doesn’t make sense to me unless I’m missing something... need to load an atv in the bed occasionally. My rack will have two upright sections vs. three on yours... Thx for making the video!
You wouldn’t be able to load a quad with the bed rack. It wouldn’t be able hold much load. They’re working on a breakaway system for dirt bikes and stuff.
Thx for the reply..... I’m actually just looking to load the quad in the bed but it’s too high and will hit the rear crossbar. Thinking I can just unbolt the rear bar and run it that way?
