Thanks to the 310 comments who entered the giveaway! The winner is: @chibisven Congrats! I'll be doing another one in the video next week, so be sure to tune in. Remember, I'll never ask you for money for these. Ever. Also, many people have pointed out that the XVive is "upside down" because it will be "right side up" when you are looking at it while it's down on your belt. That definitely makes sense! I didn't think of that. Although the way our drummer has it, it's upside down so that's what I assumed. But either way, it's still a great system! Thanks for watching everyone.
Scott! My name is Robby, I'm a product specialist at Xvive! Just wanted to thank you so much for this awesome video! Your content is incredible, and we truly appreciate your showcase of the new PX system. We wanted to share that the layout was intentionally designed with drummers in mind. We aimed for a design where, when a drummer looks down, the channels are laid out clearly and are easily accessible. We believe this enhances usability during performances. We’d love to hear any more thoughts you have! You Rock!
Thanks Robby! And that does make sense for sure on why it’s “upside down”… I was just assuming it because of how my drummer holds it on his stand. But that definitely makes sense. Thanks for commenting and glad you enjoyed the video! 🤘🤘
Man I run backing tracks with my band as a drummer and run through a small Berhinger mixer. This would work awesome. Its small and compact. I am a banana if i dont consider getting this and my spoon is too big. Lol thanks for the video Scott.
One of our band members is an older gentleman in his 70s. I think this would be helpful for him to have the main mix, his guitar, and his vocal as the three inputs to control how much of himself he hears in his in-ears. That way he won't be turning up and be too loud in the mix for everyone else. My spoon is too big.
Nice! That would work great. Just remember the mic level can’t just be direct from the mic since it will be too quiet. But it will definitely be helpful!
Great review for a cool product! BTW, I always thought my spoon was pretty average sized, but recently my wife said my spoon is too big. This after 35 years of marriage?!
I've learned so much from your videos. Wireless signals especially. I've helped diagnose multiple issue when playing live with my band but unfortunately "My spoon is to big"
I'm in a small band thats really trying to up their stage production on a budget. Some would say that MY SPOON IS TOO BIG, but i think this would help us tackle that problem 👍
Excellent devise and great video! My drummer wanted to configure something like this but with a small mixer on stage at tue drum kit. But this totally saves space and doesn't create clutter. Love it! Definitely looking into getting this (if I don't win it here...🤣). My spoon is too big
I've have been looking for something like this for my church. We only have piano and drums, and sometimes organist. This will work great on our small budget. Thanks for the great video. My spoon is too big
I like this a lot, I think it could replace my chunky Behringer 502 mixer on my pedalboard, although I'd lose stereo if I want to mix 3 sources. Pretty neat, although the hub IMO is a poor idea, unless you literally play with only 2 other people and no one else.
This is an awsome product. I wish there were more options for Cat5 cabling on the more budget end as its a great solution it really does help with the fact that MY SPOON IS TOO BIG
I'm using a big two channel generic iem headphones amplifier and running two XLR cables and a 9v power extension for my drummer, so right now my spoon is too big and this will save me a lot of cables!
Kinda nifty, and combines that new RJ45>XLR snake idea into a headphone amp. I can imagine this being more useful if the drummer isn't the one triggering the tracks in that case of the full band needing the mix. In my projects my drummer's run their own click and our tracks and they only feed the tracks off a DI to our X32 Rack. We send them 1 feed for the mix of everything else so they get all 3 mix options without needing extra splits at the board. This is why I figured its more useful if your tracks are being fed from elsewhere. We are certainly starting to get interesting options more an more these days so there are more scenarios having something simple to address them. Xvive has been pretty active on the "small scale" scene and I look forward to seeing their future product lineup. Cheers!
As a drummer, I have been looking for something I can rely on when it comes to in ear monitors. I have tried two different brands of wireless options and it's just not been ideal. Probably because "my spoon is too big," but who knows? Anyway this sounds and looks like a great option to try as number 3!
The upside down printing is likely because this is meant to hang on your belt. So when you look down at it, it’s right side up. And, my spoon is too big! 😂 Damn, missed it. 😢
I actually really need this since my spoon is too big, because I can't use little forks on my ears, and the wedges are like a noodle on stage. Thanks, I hope I win, greetings from Chile
Awesome as usual Scott. One more in out would make this an absolute lock as im looking for something to replace my presonus headphone amp. Hopefully with the fact that “My spoon is too big” will land me one of these for free 😉
Looks to be a handy tool for musicians that need control over their own sound monitoring. So many issues with stand alone physical monitors while playing without disruption. My spoon was to big for soup so I drank my soup instead.
usually, my spoon is too big for these types of gigs. the much smaller 3 knob spoon you describe above would be absolutely perfect for all those corporate bananas i get called for.
It's good to know of the alternatives as to what gear can be used for drummers that are sent the click track. My spoon is too big, and I'm always considering other methods.
I ones needed to drum but i forgot my sticks and the singer gave me some spoons i said i cant drum with that! He said why not? My only answer was: my spoon is to big.
I need 2 sleep tokens because My Spoon is Too Big to use on my drum set. Smaller spoons make a better tone in my opinion. I was completely serious btw. 😂
