Power supply is not included with the case. Video misleading. The XWORKS website offers "Power Supply Compatibility" list of manufacturers and model numbers, helpful! I could not find where they offered custom cables. The website offers "Suggested Cable Lengths" used to custom make your own. Video led me to believe XWORKS offered custom cables. Perhaps they sent you a special package that contained the PS and Cables or I just didn't see an easy path on their website for purchase. Otherwise very great video and great presentation as usual! Thank You!
I like the internal ssd mounts in the spine, I'll probably incorporate that in my next 3D printed case to fit a SFX PSU rather than a FLEX PSU. A shame so many of these cases have to cost as much as a 3D printer and take only an afternoon or two to model.
This thing is expensive and no it is not a case this is shelf of some sorts for holding PC parts together. In my humble opinion 30 USD is reasonable price. Nice Video , thanks for your review.
First time I've seen those thermal pads used, I'd like to see a real world thermal comparison with paste. The reviews on Amazon indicate it's difficult to install due to it being fragile.
Like Nathan said, the temp difference is small. If you are setting up a permanent system I would still go with paste, but for someone like me, the pads simplify the build process a lot.
Kinda cool, and I can see why dinner people would be into this. For me personally it's not a case, not of a component stand. $180 seem a lot for not munch in the way of a "case". For that money there are other options is rather have, then again this kind of case just dissent speak to me that much. I guess subs would be happy to pay that price.
Great review Jay and loving the case! Awesome layout and soooo tiny! Great as a HTPC / SFF light-mid level gaming rig 🥰🥰🥰🤯🤯🥳🥳! Easy to clean to with a data vac or compressed air cleaner when needed. Price I agree is a little steep considering, but a terrific chassis nonetheless 🥰👍
Awesome vid as always. I don't want to dwell on race but it's really cool seeing another Black person building mini itx PCs. I honestly thought I was the only one! Thanks for this awesome channel! If I may ask anything, are you planning on doing "lower end" cases in the future? Or ones that are cheaper?
Thanks for this. I’m getting back into computer building after a long absence. Could this case be used as a foundation inside a custom shell made of something unique like wood or carbon fibre?
Dude your videos are good enough that if you posted more you’d have a much bigger YT channel. Not to say that you really want to have one, it’s just there potential is really there. You did one of my fav builds a few years back on that mini cube you had to order from that sketchy site lmaooo I really forget the name but it was a DOPE build
Ha, thanks. I should be on a more consistent post schedule in the coming weeks. I have a full time career though, so its tough to post as much as I would like.
Out of curiosity, is the bottom of the graphics card's io shield flexing to fit near the power supply? It looks like it sits a little close. Also, have you had any bad experiences with having the Noctua fan in the pull configuration rather than the standard push? That seemed like an interesting choice! That aside, it looks like a wonderful case! Thanks for the well-made review and educational video!
All testing was done with the fan in the push config. You can certainly use the L9i in pull, but it works much better in push. The GPU IO shield is not flexing. It looks like its slight angled because the angle of the mounting bracket was ever so slightly off. I would just have to loosen it and turn it a few mm.
@@Tekeverything The fact that they supply lengthed cables is just the icing on the cake. Sorry if i missed it, the price you gave (180) includes the cables or the PSU?
Great review, but do you have any update for this case bro? , like change the low profile cpu fan with another type or brand ,or change the GPU with AMD mini-ITX...😄
How have you found the acoustics of the Delta compared to the 7660? I'd be concerned about a Noctua mod with the decreased airflow, looks like the Enhance with a Sunon fan may be the best option for Flex ATX.
The acoustics don't really seem to be effected by the hard drive enclosure. The shroud primarily covers the backside of the PSU which already has no ventilation. Definitely would still see a benefit from doing a fan mod/update.
That $180 price tag is way too steep, and should be core downside of this video, not a parting thought tacked on to the end. You are better off spending that money upgrading other parts, as other premium sfx cases like the Dan a4 are half the price, and an actual test bench a fraction. This "case" also does not come with a psu or cables as you seem to imply, making this a glorified piece of bent metal, rather than a real case.
