If that was a test flight, I'd say it passed the test with "flying" colors! This is another in a long series of amazing videos of amazing models on your channel Horst. I dont get this whole R/C Plane community kind of thinking .... There are videos on youtube of test flights and maiden flights where the pilots just ram their huge scale handbuilt aircrafts into the ground and destroy them and everybody is clapping for them and cheering .... Then there is your landing, by far one of the best R/C Plane landings i have ever seen and nobody is clapping .... WTF

This is likely the most realistically flown & image captured RC jet flights I've seen. Picked a great day & lighting period to fly. The build, flight skills, and image production is a "bucket list" combination here. Salute!

i thought Hawk would be a good looking and excellent rc-jetmodel for its rational dimensions. a plane that can be flown without fly-by-wire computer, and as a scale model from the ground. yet Hawk looks like a credible eye-candy war machine. beautiful plane. this video proves it. superb workmanship and piloting. you made something i have been day dreaming. thanks for sharing.

Can't count how many videos like this the I have viewed here in the USA, this one is the best. From the view of the flight from the 2 camera's mounted on the aircraft to the timing of all 3 stations of landing gear deploying and retracting in total sync. That is a show stopper and a show winner. Beautiful job by all involved.

Absolutely incredible! By far the best RC Jet I have ever seen and the cameras just make it! The only think that would top this is for 8 others to make the same jet and then you paint them all bright red.

The weight (175 lbs) gives it extremely realistic 'scale' flying characteristics. What a beautiful project. I look forward to seeing it fully trimmed and detailed. :-)

This is stunning, I fly aircraft for a living and can appreciate the skill involved in piloting something like this from the ground without the seat of the pants most of us pilot's rely on! Beautiful scale aircraft, I don't think model is a word that applies to this. Any aircraft that's perfect scale replicas of the real thing I love, the attention to detail is incredible. I'd love my own one day!

Wonderful!!! Beautiful model and obviously flown by a highly skilled pilot. With much credit to the builder, thank you for your dedication. I'm guessing the builder and pilot are the same, magnificent job. I really like the on board camaras. The first view of the pilot , I had to remind myself that it is a model! Would you please think about placing a camara just behind and above the pilots head, looking forward, (inside the cockpit.) I think that would be a fun view. Love it! Thank you. I build some of the largest model ships in the world, full time, 23 years professionally. I love the large scales. Thank you again.

Thank youu vor your great comment, which I really appreciate. No. The pilot wasn't involved in building the Hawk. Please have a look at the video description ;) Placing a camera inside the cockpit is very tricky, because it requires a stable / robust component for attachment. Otherwise the pictures will be wobbly. You should post some videos of your model ships ;) _Cheers, RCSA_
