Elfe P2 im Maßstab 1:1 (100%) ein RC Segelflugzeug von Patrick Trauffer. Padi, der seit seinem 5. Lebensjahr Modellflug und Modellbau betreibt, nahm auch an der aktuellen Staffel der Serie "Die Modellbauer - Das Duell" aus DMAX in der Kategorie "Segelflugzeuge" teil und baute in der vorgegeben Zeit von 250 Tagen eine flugfertige Elfe P2 im Maßstab 1:1 in Full-Scale. Der Nachbau entstand dabei größtenteils in Eigenleistung. Patrick Trauffer stellte das RC Segelflugmodell auch auf der Segelflugmesse in Schwabmünchen vor. Beachtlich!

The pilot should step into his own plane and fly it with his RC-radio :) I am totally impressed that those tiny tow planes were able to pull that giant off the ground with such ease :) What is the flying weight of this glider?

Dafür würde sich doch eine Cri-Cri als Schlepper anbieten. Falls es im Original nicht reicht ein Modell im Maßstab 2:1. 😁 Super Modell! ☺️

Question,"Why go to all the trouble to build a full scale R.C. Model instead of a real aircraft ? Answer. I could ,but it would not be as good as the real thing.

Soll das wirklich ein 1:1 Modell sein? Ist zwar ein gigantische großes Modell, aber für 1:1 Kommt es mir etwas klein vor. Auf jeden Fall hat das Ding ein wunderbares Flugbild. Und der Pilot hat die Maschine perfekt vorgeflogen.
