Y Gribin, (Snowdon) full ridge. Quieter grade 1 scramble on the Snowdon Range.

A look at the full scramble from my ascent of Y Gribin on Snowdon.
Not to be confused with a route of the same/similar name on The Glyders. One thing to take note of is that the camera I'm using does make the ridge appear slightly steeper than it is. However this is a serious ridge and I wouldn't recommend it for a first scramble.

Great video but, ouch, your initial route is too far over to the right with a nasty vertiginous drop below ! The ‘established’ line starts to the left and generally continues on the left side away from the drops which of course you pick up with some zig zags and grassy plateaus. Yes, look for those white crampon scratches and foot- flattened areas !

I remember thinking at the time that it was a little harder than I was expecting but also well within my capabilities and although looking dramatic was solid and a lot of fun. I came down this route 2 days ago ... but went more verticle down from the top, rather than scrambling its length. Scary doing it the first time when you've no idea of the route ... or even if you're going the right way! Luckily the weather was perfect with zero wind.

What lake is that at the beginning? Trying to get my bearings... Is the lake meant to be on your left? (Camera is mirrored)

It's Glaslyn on the right, Llyn Lydaw is way down on the left. Camera isn't mirrored 👍. I climbed the ridge from Glaslyn after descending from Garnedd Ugain. The ridge tops out between Snowdon and Y Lliwedd. Hope this helps.
