In this video I show how to wire up a 2-port in series with a 3-port when installing an unvented cylinder on a Y-plan setup.

Simple explanation bud, I've never had to put a cylinder on a Y but this makes sense if it ever comes up. Great job.

This is good, thanks. Why is the 3 port set to HW default? Would it be possible to reverse the 3 port, so that it was Heating default, would that not resolve the issue also?
