Sad 🙁 Sad 🙁 Sad🙁 Such a "Remarkable and Extradinary" man that made everyone "Laugh" with a Sweet and Charming Beautiful Soul 🙁 Also, the same with Jeanne Cooper 🙁 Such a Beautiful Hilarious Soul" that "Truly" made Y & R ❤️
My deepest sympathy to Kristoff's family, friends and his Y&R family. This truly hurt me, I watched him as Neil from the beginning. I'm going to truly miss seeing him on the Soap. It was a shock, there will be no one to ever replace him on the show, Y&R will not be the same without him. May Kristoff Rest In Peace 💔
I just love Y&R and all of the cast and thank you to the entire crew for being in our living rooms since I was a young girl watching with my grandmother! RIH Jeanne & Kristoff!
Amen...me, too, alongside my grandmother as well!!! Then my mother as I got older. And now at 53, now catching up on 15yr hiatus from school and working..missed alot getting older. She got me started with AMC, Y/R, DAYS OLTL and GH..absolutely the best 5 ever to hit daytime😉😉💞👍🏅🎭 It's been great and it takes me back to their hayday when they were the best ...it's been awesome watching these clips..and the current day to day shows now. I have missed them so!!💜💜👍
I helped with fan clubs from mid 70s. Jeanne was just so much fun, Bell family so kind and generous. Lee Phillip Bell had top Chicago talk show when she left to go out to LA to live she left her show and Phil Donahue took over that time slot
I miss her too now that I'm watching them how young they were and Kristoff st. John has passed away last week seeing him so young and vibrant give me the last year's such sad eyes may they rest in peace
@ray jay far far from being the Original Cast. I like many of these but I still miss the Original cast that included Brenda Dickson, Trish Stewart, Janice Lynde, Dorothy GREEN, Robert Colbert, William Gray Espy, James Houghton, Pamela Peter's, Lee Crawford, Robert Clary, Julianne McCarthy. Jeanne Cooper started 6 to 8 months into show, Jaime Lyn Bauer start first of 1974, just a tad beyond a year.
The 50th anniversary led me here. This was 30 years ago😭. I watched the whole thing without pausing. Most of the cast is still working in daytime and there are only 4 soaps left. So much has changed in 30 years but Y&R is still going strong. 🎉🎉
Peter's hair! And it shows how great Tracy is at bringing Lauren to life, with everyone calling her by her character's name. The Duchess! No one will ever out shine her. And I really loved the Sheila story line, I wish they could bring Sheila back to BB to be a rival of Quinn.
Oh this takes me back! Y&R was so popular here in the UK, but we were 4 years behind! I remember watching this amazing cast back in the 90's when I was a teen. It came on in the morning before I went to school and then it repeats in the afternoon! I love this show!
My prayers to the Kristoff Family and the YR Cast Family, I've watched YR since 1979. I've been waiting for this memorial to Neil/ St John so I could grieve and have closure but I'm just as devastated as when Catherine/ Jeanne Cooper passed. I feel like I've lost a family member and my tears are for his heartbrokenness. RIP St. John.....you are missed now beyond measure. To the writers and cast thank you for this final memorial.
In the UK, these were many of the cast members that I recall having the greatest story lines between 1985-98. Miss Y&R so very much when it was wrongly removed from British TV, but I feel grateful for having watched it in those years. RIP to Jeanne and Kristoff and thank you to the other cast (some of whom are not present on the stage) for wonderful TV drama.
Wow, my God I had forgotten how young they all were! Man I’ve been watching Y&R for a really loooooong time lol. I remember them being this young and the old storylines. I remember my friends and fellow students in high school and college keeping up with Y&R back in the day too lol. OMG Kristoff and Jeanne. Two staples of this show. My main reasons for watching back in the day were Neil, Dru, and later Malcolm and the whole Winters clan, and Katherine and Jill and their infamous fights. Then I got hooked with Nicholas, Sharon, and the whole Cassie saga. Great video! Thanks for posting this.
I'm a 3rd generation Y&R watcher. My grandma had to get home before Y&R, now I don't leave until show ends. She would say, I'm done with them, they made me mad. LOL. I miss her. It's so hard to watch the show without Neil. The tributes are special.
Wow, I haven't seen the Phil Donahue show in years. Nice blast from the past. Even though I stopped watching Y&R a long time ago, I need to watch the show's tribute to Kristoff St. John. I saw the show's tribute to Jeanne Cooper and I need to see his too. RIP Kristoff St. John and Jeanne Cooper.
Still love this show today in 2023..it's just as awesome and have missed it so much the last 15 years..I got caught up real quick. I miss those days so much..back when they were at their best! Still going strong and hope they keep on for another 15 yrs..hats off to Y/R!! And yes..I miss Katherine and Neil so much!! So sad without them..but their legacy still lives in their families and their companies!!💙💙💞🏅🏅🏆💯💯
Hello, i live in Belgium and we are in 2016 on the show. Excuse me for my English it's very difficult for me. J'adore regarder the Y&R...je ne manque aucun épisode. Je suis triste que Kristoff st-John nous a quitté mais ici nous le verrons jusqu'en 2022...
I watched this from the beginning. Iconic scene: Mrs. Chancellor - "OOOHhhHhMmmyyYyGodddDdd, Brock!" said in a teary drunken voice, with the sound of ice cubes clinking in an almost empty high ball glass.
I never liked the current Victoria. I am a long-time core fan of Y&R so not only are cast replacements difficult, but the new Victoria looked nothing like Heather Tom; On top of her looking much too old to even play Vikki.
Kristoff Was such a great talent and was in the business since he was a kid him and dru were such a great couple on y&r got a lot of respect for all these actors to do the job they do every day is truly amazing and all of these actors have done it so long tbh they are the only reason I tune in every know and then the soaps aren’t the same as they were back then but love the actors to much to stop
Tricia cast is an amazing actress, so gifted.i think everyone on the panel is so talented and gifted.i think that Tricia cast as Nina webster was the fire of the show.
I do believe he was depressed. And years ago he did attempt suicide. But I don't think he intentionally killed himself. I believe he was self medicating with alcohol and accidentally overdosed. It's very sad.
I totally agree, and to know he was on the phone w/his ex wife & told her he had to go Julian is calling me, we're going for a walk, then to see his final post (pic of him & a little boy walking into the sunset) that hit me hard!!!!
I think he was so heartbroken when he just needed to numb his pain I know how that feels I lost a son you never get past that but suicide was never in my thought and I don't think he meant to do it either
@@ursulamullikin4723 I'm so sorry to hear that, Ursula! Please stay strong, keep busy & pray daily but trust me he's doing better than we are on earth. He's good....and don't forget to watch the Y & R special dedicated to Neil coming this month. I have my DVR ready.
I hav almost died from a broken heart...twice. Both times, I had a stroke. The first time, I did now know what happened, but in both instances, I was screaming my head off over being truly loved for the on of the girls times in my life, after I grew up being sexually abused my my now, ex step mother. Th second time, I woke up in the hospital after having the stroke on my bicycle at 1:30 in the morning. The doctor told me that I had another one that went undetected. I tried to tell him the REAL reason why it happened, but he refused to listen and only paid attention to what the medical tests said. - I met Kristoff at the grocery store about two months before he died. I did not know that he lost his son. Had I known that, I think I could have given him hope to hold on, because things EVENTUALLY get better, even though it is a very long, tough road and it is the toughest battle that one will face in life.
@@saxmanjpr5092 wow! Thank u for sharing & I'm glad ur feeling better. Please stay strong & reach out when your down....often, it seems strangers care more than those who know us because wedont share w/them, really. Oddly, Kristoff was on my mind last night, I then watched the original movie "Shaft" & totally forgot his dad had a leading role. Kristoff is ok...God Makes no mistakes. Feel better, sweetie @ Saxman
It’s 2018 so it’s about 25 yrs since this show! I wonder if Peter Bergman is still married to that beautiful red head he was married to back on this show? I miss Genie and I wish her still here! But Heather Tom is still around. But is now on the B&B!
Nonya Business I have hundreds of vhs, Ive watched from day one, March 26, 1973 but it was a few yrs til we got a vcr. I did fan club so I needed the tapes for work, just never threw them away. Interviewing Eric Breaden was scary til I met him but he was so nice. Jeanne I will love forever, she was bawdy, funny and just the nicest person.Being on the set was so much fun, the Bell family is just the nicest people
