I know Mihoyo tortured us in a lot of chapters. But I kinda feel like this one is where it's basically pure and prolonged pain. The only enjoyable part was Sora and Raven and also the Curry which was shattered into a million pieces after finding out she can't taste anything, Benares who's sacrifice is gonna be more painful for Second Eruption reader and how Mei was so eager to sever ties to Kiana in the boss fight and cutscene and the final nail of course, the Stigmata
@@earlsanchez2231 yeah.not only one manga.but multiple ones. and 2nd eruption and 2nd divine key are the best ones!. try offcial mihoyo site.if the pages fe talking time to load. try mangadex
In the recent chapter, she oddly pointed out specifically "Mei's sweet curry" which makes me wonder if that's the usual or she was able to taste the sweet curry enough, but lied anyways
@@maounobbu8128 well it's because Mei say to Kiana Purposely "I was worried it was... Too spicy" ( 1:36 ) From the pause we know that Mei felt guilty after lied to Kiana but she really wants to check Kiana's condition with her own hands
Every time I see someone play this chapter, I can't stop crying, 12:39 every Captain's thoughts exactly, and as always, anyone who streams this chapter, chat is cruel, "Check the stigs", after the cutscene
I love how the stigmata became the nail to the coffin for everyone reaching this chapter, we are literally giving them the shovel to dig their own grave. 🤣
ah yes. let's embrace the *pain* together as one. we've all been there so we understand. but we must keep on moving forward and fight for all that's beautiful in this world. 😭
Mei finally found Kiana - Kiana had only two months left. Mei made curry for Kiana - Kiana couldn't taste anymore. Mei revived Benares: The dragon was no longer Benares. Kiana having flashbacks of the good old days - Slashed in half by Mei. Mei saved Kiana - She wll never see Kiana again. That's the love and care we get from Mihoyo😂😂😂
"In despair, you shall see hope. In the madness of this world, you shall see the light. With the evil in this wretched world, a hero will descend and make the world beautiful once more."
@@enviinv I mean, I really like otto even before chapt 28 as someone who read everything related to honkai. I'm really just happy they killed him, not to mention, haters got to be happy since their wish came true. He suffered and burned lol
I remember ya-chan also cried buckets at Shenhe's backstory, i know you only cover honkai stuff but maybe share a little bit more tears might not be a bad idea.
Question, when "Bella" last trip part did YaChan make some reaction? Kinda curious. I haven't watch her archieve yet because finishing all available chapter both APHO2 and main story...
@@Ollyt_ oh, okay thanks for information lately event stack up and I must handle also catch up both CH and JP server to the last available chapter and mission ignoring other stuff maybe 2 week later I can watch any archieve stream that you clip. By the way no latest clip from bunny who got kicked out by Mei? Kinda miss her reaction tbh.
@@Ollyt_ their reactions to curry scene. Even it's not animation reaction. But it's consider iconic moment for chapter 17. I mean, like Kanaru and others...
Despite the excellent choreography and music, I felt nothing but annoyance with Mei (and a bit with Kiana) during this cg. There were hundred different ways to go about this, but she chose the most pathetic way to do it. There was no sadness for me here just pure annoyance, Mei went from top three to bottom of the barrel after this for me. Don't get me wrong, I know perfectly well why she did it, but that doesn't excuse it in anyway. I skipped every single CG and arc with her after this until Fu Hua's arc. By that time my annoyance died off, but I ignored her presence whenever she showed.
@@rainierdanredondo1278 I may have strong opinions about Mei teaming up with World Serpent, but despite my disagreements it is still really well done. I'm the type that looks at all the angles, but high emotions are rarely ever rational. So, yes, I think what Mei is dumb, but it makes sense for the series of events that happen. It doesn't mean I agree with it.
Interesting take. I'm a big s(im)upporter of Mei X Kiana, but I see where you're coming from. Bear in mind that Mei essentially anchored her livelihood on Kiana's well-being, so seeing the damage and stress Kiana suffered took a toll on her rationale and decision-making. From outside POV, Kiana doesn't want anyone sacrificing themselves for her, especially Mei, the one that she loves/cares the most in the world, so this is where their paths diverge (that Mei wants to take on the world so Kiana can be safe, even if it means the loss of their relationship) and we can all agree that Mei should've shut Kiana down sooner than later because using HoV's power will keep hurting her. Young and tragic upbringing = this sad outcome of an otherwise beautiful relationship, two wounded souls that found each other. In short you are right that this could've been handled differently, but I think it's ok since everything was consistent with their characters and situations at the time.
