Yagyū Shingan-ryū, 柳生心眼流, is a complete battlefield art and includes many weapons and crafts that were prevalent at the times of its inception. Yagyu Shingan ryu includes jujutsu, Bōjutsu, Naginatajutsu, Iaijutsu and Kenjutsu.

parte desta arte só é entendida entre os praticantes da arte... ela era praticada por samurais no japão feudal... usar armas contra camponeses revoltados seria desonrado para um samurai, muitos deles preferiam vencer as castas inferiores usando apenas as mãos para demonstrar superioridade... por isso eles praticavam ju jutsu com seriedade... acredite, é uma arte muito eficiente! osu

So many impractical techniques. The only thing they should've done is have a randori and discard all the useless techniques out and refine the remaining ones. Without active resistance, these techniques don't amount to anything. That's why so many jujitsu ryuhas lost to Kano jujitsu (judo)

Relax, they ate not training for a competition. Most of these koryu tra8n for the soul purpose of retaining part of their history. Besides, without this we would not have judo or BJJ. Why is it so difficult for the sport fighters to have respect of their roots?

@@jjs3890 l am not a sports fighter. A real combat training should be realistic as much as possible. Then it can be called a 'martial art.' Else it's just a dance form at best - great for cardio, useless for self defense or combat.

@@nesshingakusei6932 they were the combat techniques of the past for the samurai. This is how they maintained their ways and preserve their culture. If you're looking for modern combat techniques then search h for that. One thing you will realize is that the modern combat methods borrow ancient techniques.

@@jjs3890 For your information I've studied koryu jujutsu for many years. And I'm saying this with both perspectives - preserving the old so it can be used effectively in today's world. This is how the old gets preserved - by adjusting it to the modern times.
