this was next level . As an ardent eternal faiz lover , the only versions that are imprinted in my consciousness are -nayyara noor’s ‘aj bazar me’ and of course iqbal bano’s ‘hum dekhengey’ While Sethi has retained the tune and feel of hum dekhengey ; he has completely revolutionised the other classic . This post-modernist, post- truth , deep house oriented interpretation of aaj bazar me - is out of this world . It definitely belongs somewhere in the heavens above as the eternal cry ( naala-e-dil ) of humanity. Kudos mr Sethi . Not only have you given a fabulous performance , but have also left me meandering the profound mystical mazes of life -yet again. In a world fraught with injustice , pain , suffering there is still undying hope and tenacity and hence some goddamn meaning to being human.

Hum Dekhenge....this song is so beautifully written that it gives strength even in case of heart breaks when you got cheated in love and the other person is shamelessly walking hand in hand with other person in front of you. Ali Sethi voice is great and I love it.
