He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people. He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within. He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands. He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers. He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation: For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us: For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States: For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world: For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury: For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies: For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments: For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever. He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us. I really like how they're doing a more natural vibe for the voices in the reboot. It's such a nice touch, even if you notice it most with Yakko than anyone
I think they used to speed their voices up a little bit to make them sound more like kids in the original, but they don’t do it in the reboot. Also Rob Paulsen went through treatment for throat cancer, which is probably why Yakko sounds a little different.
I think it’s also a nice touch that they don’t sped up their voices since it’s been almost 20 something years since the original so it sounds that they got older as the years went on as well
This is why I adore Yakko. You can call him a freak or a weirdo all you won't, and he won't so much as bat an eye. But he loves his siblings. Mess with them, and then he gets MAD.
Yakko's behavior of being a loyal big sibling makes me think of how many people world-wide unfortunately dealt with toxic older siblings instead. I should know.😓
Sorry that there are many that deal with toxic siblings. Siblings like that(toxic ones) should learn to take a page out of the Warner siblings’ book about being more caring and loving
One time my mom confessed to me that she did in fact confront my older sister's behavior towards me. I highly doubt my sister even cared because she never showed any signs of remorse.

The puns are legit dad jokes so- Also haven’t seen the reboot in a while so hearing Yakko again is slightly jarring considering I still remember how he sounds in the 90s run where is sounds more kiddish.

You should see him in Wakko's Wish. He's much more caring and responsible, given that the film is set in an alt continuity where the siblings are orphans.

Well, in a way, he did have to take care of his younger siblings without help (From the fact that they mention they’re orphans multiple times in the the 2020 version and the 90’s version) So in a way, he is literally the “dad sibling”
I'm one of the youngest of my friends. I can be any family member. Literal oldest sibling. Emotionally adopted as the youngest sibling. I have a mom friend who I just call mom. I have a bunch of friends my age. I'm the aunt friend in some groups. So somehow I am both Yakko himself and Yakko is my brother trying to keep me alive.
