One reason I love majima is that he can be all "serious" (at least in his way) and have this deep intimidating voice, then exactly a half second later with the highest voice imaginable just go *K I R Y U - C H A N*
@@scudzmcdudz It's not just amusement. There's genuine respect there. I think Kiryu knows that Majima holds back in their fights (though I'm unsure who would win if both were going all out). More importantly, he knows that Majima is a man of character.
i dont even think you need to be a yakuza to know who majima was. even the police wouldn't dare touch such a magnificent bastard without a plan. he could probably be the head of the tojo clan himself if he wanted to.
@@supersmashbro596 honestly, he could. Hes smart enough, strong enough, and cunning enough. The thing is, he doesn't want the hassle anymore. He wants to do good by his boys and kiryu( and fight him) everything else is just window dressing.
@@graetestfanever1 One of the most illustrative scenes of modern day Majima is when he shows up late to a Tojo Clan meeting and immediately rises to the top of the families as an earner just by virtue of "trying a little"
I can't believe that both Majima AND Kiryu met him as a kid. Also, Shinji. I got a tear outta that. I wonder if there's a continuation to that story. I wanna know how they became partners. Now it's the perfect time. Is there a continuation to that substory?
I love how, even when his life is hanging by a thread and he's literally coughing up blood, he still manages to hit on Sayama. Fucking love Majima. Such a fun character.

@@KingTylex I would love for another majima game man. With his full moveset. Not what was done in kiwami 2. He is a badass character and is on the level of saejima and kiryu. I honestly dont even understand how a guy like saejima can keep up with someone like kiryu. Sure his brute strength is easily the best we have seen so far but even his gameplay shows that he just aint on those twos level in skill. I need me another game with majima and akiyama playable so i can be at peace.
7:08 I really love how he went from "President of Majima Construction" to "Tojo Clan, Patriarch of the Majima Family" in what I can only assume is half an hour.

only the developers and writing team allow him to become such cool "badguy" supporting for main character... this guy was experiencing about 3 time change of personaliity in his life... starting from 0 ... yet some things never ever change.... "kiryu chan,,:!!"
There are two majima, the insane one who everybody love ❤️ and the sane one who is serious. But what make them stand out that they have a heart of gold.
@@leobardoestrada3202 I actually love the serious majima more from yakuza o(which can be seen at rare times through the series).But I absolutely love the "insane majima as well. Everything about majima is perfect! I want more of him in the future(focusing on his character more)
I love the first scene. In almost every game its the player that is in the dark and doesnt know who characters are or their background; constantly having to listen to exposition. But in that first scene it feels like the player is the insider, and Kaoru is the one in the dark. All of the florist info and stuff about purgatory would be known to the player if they played Kiwami. It just felt really good to be the one who knew what was going on going into the situation for once.
Jesus, imagine the panic attack you would be going through, being that Majima Construction worker who's defusing the bombs with him. It's already a super anxiety triggering situation, you're thinking of your old mom back home living alone, then you find out your boss doesn't know a fucking thing about the bomb to begin with, but is crazy enough to make it up as he goes, and ruthless enough to make you go along with it.
pretty sure nishida already experienced enough trauma after working for Majima so long. But yeah, that guy deserves a hell of a raise. I hope Majima is treating him good
Poor fucker is Majima's right hand man. He's the one that gets dragged into all his crazy antics. Nishida is the guy who calls you when Majima has some convoluted plan to fight Kiryu for the Majima Everywhere system in Kiwami, and he just seems exhausted with each one.
nah man at that point i would be pretty sure the guy is a god or something cause they were down to 2 wires, either he is bullshitting me or the man has supernatural powers cause what are the odds someone can randomly defuse 90% of a bomb

Weird thing to focus on, I know, but: 35:03-35:18 is a small clip where you can hear Majima and Kiryu greet each other in a friendly way...Maybe even fond! I know that this is a goofy thing to think about, but it legitimately makes me happy thinking how familiar Majima and Kiryu have gotten, over the course of all previous games.
I love how happy he sounds in spite of the fact that they are all probably going to die. then again, he was listening to their discussion, so he was probably excited to put his head to work.
Let's be honest majima is the real legend here he can easily make kiryu smile with his pole dancing and can beat everyone including kiryu if it wasn't for plot

That's his style u can't judge him xD Kiryu can bring anything at that fight, but I do enjoy a fight without weapons is much more cooler when both characters beat the crap of each other xD one sided is never fun

Kiryu didn’t showdown at the end with Ryuji cause of a dragon tattoo, but because even if they decided to call it a draw, Majima would be all over Kiryu’s shit.
I love him! Fighting those guys in the street, flirting with Sayama after that even though he can't move anymore and the bomb diffusion are my favourite Majima moments from all the games 😂
