Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of the original "Yakuza 2," featuring updated graphics and gameplay mechanics. Set in the fictional city of Kamurocho, players assume the role of Kazuma Kiryu, a former yakuza member turned honorable civilian, who gets pulled back into the criminal underworld.
The story revolves around a power struggle within the Tojo Clan, one of the largest criminal organizations in Japan. Kiryu finds himself embroiled in a conflict between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance, another powerful yakuza group from Osaka. The tension escalates as both factions vie for control over Kamurocho, leading to a series of intense confrontations and betrayals.
