There are entire stockpiles of leftover ceramic grenades from WW2 when the Imperial Japan expected USA to invade and planned to arm every single citizen with them, so that the entire country will go down fighting. Now those stockpiles commonly end up in the hands of Yakuza and other criminals :)

A white marble statue to be precise, and he shattered it with a single punch. Granted, we see Majima literally pound Kiryu straight through six to eight inches of solid marble flooring not even forty minutes later, so it’s a tad less impressive after seeing Majima's answer to shattering a statue.
