President of Yale-NUS College and Professor of Social Sciences (Economics) Joanne Roberts kick-started Day Two of the Yale-NUS College Geopolitics Conference with her welcome address, followed by a speech by Ms Chew Gek Khim, Deputy Chairman from Tan Chin Tuan Foundation.
Professor Khong Yuen Foong, Li Ka Shing Professor in Political Science from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore gave the second keynote speech which was moderated by Dr Trisha Craig, Yale-NUS Vice President (Engagement) and Senior Lecturer of Social Sciences (Sociology and Political Science).
