That actually took a little while to start. Do what you do with the choke and priming the bulb but instead of pumping the fuel lever give it like a 1/4 throttle in neutral and start. Starts on first start every time on my Yamaha. Cheers!
Pull-out choke on a motor this size, and new enough to have this design? I don't think we got two-strokes that looked like this in Europe, they were all dark blue with a much squarer engine cover.
Tilt that engine down before priming the bulb...the gas isnt getting into the carbs...because its tilted it'll run out from the back..that's why it didn't start in the first tumble...i have the same engine.
Thanks for the comment, but not sure I understand? When I squeeze the primer bulb I feel the fuel passing through into the carb and the bulb hardens. You are saying it'll run out from the back? Where can the fuel go if the float seals off the carb once full?
@Engine Entertainment yes you'll feel the primer bulb full. The gas then starts to run back out after you're finished pumping the bulb. It'll leak through the (butterfly).
What’s the purpose of pushing in throttle only mode a few times before bringing it back to neutral before starting it? I thought you were supposed to leave it in throttle only before cranking? If not, then I’ve been starting mine completely wrong every time lol
@@engineentertainment8199 definitely weak. Go for a 1000 MCA rated one and you'll be surprised at the difference. Sure it sounds fine but just try it. It shouldn't take that long to start regardless if it's cold or not.
