This is a video of how easy it was for me to upgrade to a 24 V battery and upgrade to rubber tires. This is for education purposes only do not try this at home!
I just did this ! I cant wait to see my son's face! His battery just took a dump! N he. Was so bummed I was scrolling through videos n found this one m did it in minutes! Thanks!
Is there a way to put a dial(kinda like a volume dial)that will allow u to adjust the power level a lil better. I'm wondering if he's not hitting the gas hard cuz it's now a lil too much for his current size. This way he can ease himself up to the speed and learn how to distribute his weight over the front when he gasses it. Nice work man!
@@TechTokOffical I’m sure there is a way you could do that. You may want to go to your local Home Depot to see what they have. The best thing you could do is buy a battery that is lower voltage. That way you don’t get that much much kick.
Gemini87_ yeah man. It was really dupe to see my sons smile. I personally like to check FB market to see if I can get a deal on a used one but yeah eBay then Amazon are good to. Here’s a link to the one i have. The price on Amazon is really high for you to check around. I have a few of them. I used my Milwaukee M18 in my sons worked great for about a month then he stripped out on of the gearboxes. Plastic on plastic doesn’t hold up to well. 🤷 Also watch the battery as well don’t over drain the battery you can do permanent damage to it.
I have the same Yamaha Raptor with the original 12v battery and want to do this. How did you create the connection for the new battery and still keep the fuse?
Cool mod, id suggest dropping down to the 18v battery it's much easier on the motor and it will last..... Now having said that man you really need to work on your patients as a parent and role model to your son.
