Ready to perform a Yamaha ATV clutch cable replacement? It’s an easy job, and in this video we’ll show you how to do it and let you in on a couple of hacks along the way to make the job easier.
We’ll start by removing the old clutch cable… but not completely. Watch closely as John shows you an easy way to use a little electrical tape and the old cable to route your new clutch cable. Once we have the new cable routed, we’ll show you how to connect both ends of the cable, including installing a new clutch cable adjusting bolt at the top of the cable. But that’s not the end of the job. John will show you how to adjust the clutch cable on your Yamaha ATV, including a five-cent hack to help you set the fine adjustment on your clutch handle.
