So at the end of the day which has better torque, sheer, pull strength? Also if a blind hole was deep enough could you use a timesert over a heli coil any issue with this besides cost and overkill
I watched this vid hoping to see some clever solutions to oil leaking all over the place when the filter cover is removed. Instead, the tech seemed completely unconcerned with spillage. I made a funnel out of aluminum foil and that helped.
you do a great job in your video. Easy to follow, and pleasant to listen to. Thanks for bringing confidence to doing this job DYI. Who would think you needed that level of disassembly for an air filter!!
Mine turns over but just won't start green light is on but doesn't seem to be firing r get spark but if u hold spark plug wire my son it was getting spark not sure though what else could I check
Hello, I have a used 2005 Sportsman 800efi. Replaced the fuel pump it stopped working while doing that I also changed the Injectors and plugs now it just doesn't sound as it should. Top end running it was back firing a little. Did the Fuel Injectors get crossed by any chance ? Before I take apart again.
Have you purged the air out? Turn the key on, then off, (make sure you hear the fuel pump primes) do that 3 times. Then on the 4th time, start it. Does it sound any better? How old is the fuel?
Engine. That would be the most expensive part. Maintain it properly by doing regular oil changes, replace air filter, spark plugs, If something doesn't sound right, do some troubleshooting and fix it. Don't run it if it's not right.
Mine does the clicking right now when I try and start it but won’t start. It’s a 2008 rancher 420, do you think it would be the starter since the solenoid still clicks?
What kind of mechanic re-uses brake seals? Always use new seals whenever they're disturbed or removed. You can only get away with using the old seals if you haven't actually removed them from the caliper in the first place and if you're taking them out, you might as well replace them, right? Re- using old seals is asking for trouble to put it mildly...
