I've been looking at midsize cruisers, and the Bolt R-spec is a contender. I'll probably buy a slip-on to replace the large stock muffler. The D-S exhaust looks great in SS, but I'm not liking that you got burned on it. Probably go with a Vance&Hines muffler.
The sound is amazing! way better then I was expecting... video does not do it justice.. The saddlemen seat is also a game changer. Thank you for checking it out!
Looks good sounds great but from the top that looks like it sticks out WAY far that would kill my leg I would try running the pipe backwards and make it short who knows might change the sound a little too.

I finally bought them. And my tbr comp series full stainless steel exhaust sounds so similar to yours. My muffler is a tad shorter and I have the carbon fiber muffler tip.
ahh I honestly don't remember I am sorry. I am pretty sure when I ordered the exhaust its only for the yamaha bolt so there is only one size. Feel free to shoot deen speed an email, he is super friendly

Thanks man! The tune is amazing.. had it on my first bolt also which originally had the power commander. The bike would literally just stall out with the power commander on it. I took it off (which was a pain) sold it on Ebay and sent the ecu off to Ivans. Complete game changer. Check there site they give power numbers for different setups. I wanna see what that D&D intake looks like on the bike!

How did you feel about the Ivans Flash? Been thinking about it to get a few more HP and my bolt crackles A LOT on decel and engine braking is brutal. Let me know!
1000% recommended! my first bolt would pop and crackle and it fixed all issues I was having as well as increasing power. I personally do not recommend the Power Commander. I had a Power Commander on my first bolt and had a lot of issues. Ivans ECU flash all the way you will not be disappointed.
Brian Edwards no. It will create moisture. He needs some heat shields. Wrapping exhaust for street use nowadays is pretty stupid. Mostly hipsters do that crap.
Did it come with a mounting bracket or did you use the stock bolt mount? I want this for an scr950 but unsure if it'll work. Can't find anyone who has done it.
I would message Dean Speed. It doesn't use the stock mounting bracket or any mountain bracket which is great because that thing must have weighted 20 pounds lol I dont see why it wouldnt work for a SCR950, that would look sick!
Great video! Question: how do I swap my stock handle bar clamp setup for the thru-triple tree setup you have going on? And what diameter is that? I'm looking to do rabbit ears on my Bolt. Thanks!
Thanks for checking out the video! So my bar setup got rid of the bar clamp and the new handle bars use a bolt through the bottom of the triple tree. It would be the same setup for rabbit ears.
