Thank you for your music. You reminded my brother who played the accordeon and piano By ear, when he was around 5. Then he took piano lessons for many years He is the only grandson who inherited this natural gift, from our Italian grandfather. And came to Uruguay, escaping from the war, when he was just a child. So many ships arrived at our River Plate,Ri'o de la Plata, and they were welcomed!!!!
Thank you for your kind comment....and it makes me happy that he recalled memories from the past that are so much part of our lives.....please join my youtube channel if you haven't already done that....appreciated and have a good day!
This voice on the DGX670 thrills my heart. I am older, 74, and my Yamaha Clavinova CVP7, circa 1985 Japan, is not working well. I've been talking about buying an accordion, but my husband doesn't necessarily like the sounds of an accordion. This gives me hope that I could purchase this keyboard instead and use headphones. One of the questions I tried to answer is, was there and electronic accordion that one could use headphones. I couldn't find anything on that. Thank you, for this video. I am inspired!
Yes, contact Kevin Solecki at Carnegie Accordion in Pittsburg, PA..he sells Roland electronic accordions and there is an earphone option I'm pretty sure, but verify with him.....he has some good deals now....www.carnegieaccordion.com/ wish you well in your endeavors and thanks for the compliment! This DGX Yamaha is priced at 850$ US dollars and has headphone output
@@cornellbsmusic7230 I actually bought one on amazon this afternoon. It was $799.99. There were only 2, so I decided it was time. I can hardly wait! I'll keep Kevin in mind when I decide about an accordion.
@@cornellbsmusic7230 actually I've been planning to buy it for a while. I live in michigan. North of Detroit but I do have an acoustic piano that I can play in the meantime
@@theimperfectpianist217 Got mine from Guitar Center online.....they delivered to store, I picked up, but they deliver to homes, too...I think it was 850$ and the stand another 100$ and the pedal additional, too....worth it IMO
@@cornellbsmusic7230 that's my plan too. There's a Guitar Center 20 minutes drive from me and that's why I thought I would buy it from. That's where I tested it out and it only seems fair to buy it from where I tested it out. They have the same prices you mentioned. But I'm putting it off for a little bit so I can have the joy of anticipation to get it in the future
Hi Cornell, do you know other pianos that can play accordion sound? Im fascinated by that sound so much and I don't want to buy an actual accordion haha. Preferably something portable.
Hi And thanks for the comment......I don't know what's available near you, but the price on that Yamaha 670 is $850 in US dollars, a great price for all the features it has! . You might consider that piano? I a, sure most digital with instrument sound banks have accordion sounds, but the Yamaha sounds are really nice.....look around online, I will , too and if I see anything I'll let you know, but the Yamaha is a new model, new sounds, and great ones, not just the accordion ones, either, they're all good! Let me know what you find and then do some recordings)
Let me get back to you.... it is something called "light and darkness " but I will try to find the music, which didn't have an English title......thanks for the interest, glad you like it!
Hi, the action is consistent with the price of this instrument.... but in my opinion it is better than average.... not heavy, not light....in between....I like it
Hi! Thanks for the video! I just got my DGX-670 today and it's great but one thing worries me a bit: do you know if it's normal for almost every B key to have a scratching sound, like there is a bit of friction when it's being depressed (can be heard at 30% volume)? Is yours having the same thing? Thanks!
let me check tonight and get back to you..I always play mine at a higher volume.....when you say "Every B" is making that friction sound it makes me think there is a sound chip problem, but don't know for sure.....Anyways....I would try it at all different volumes, crank it up a bit, maybe even play it a lot the next few days, turn it on and off a lot....see what happens......it could be a warrantee covered problem if you're not satisfied....keep me informed if you'd like to......another thing you might try if to dust those areas, or the entire keyboard, with a vacuum, without scratching the keys of course....maybe just during assembly there might have been some particles that are where they shouldn't be, although this sounds like an amp or chip problem, if anything, because it is at a set volume when it happens.....Good luck.C
@@cornellbsmusic7230 thank you! Actually is almost every B, especially B0 and the sound is not coming from the speakers, instead is from the keyboard mechanical part.
@@remx012 I assume all the other note sounds are coming from the speakers? And, try other sounds and see if that changes anything, and turn that power on and off a few times....Play it loud, play it soft.....also, does that sound happen of you turn up the volume?
@@remx012 You also might try going into the program bank ( screen ) and finding a setting that might affect the sound, although I doubt it, but worth a try....when I use mine tonight I will check it out, too. C
@@cornellbsmusic7230 Thank you! actually I now realize I explained it wrong. The sound seems to be mechanical, it's happening even with the piano turned off. Looks like B6 is fine but the other B are scratching a bit, B0 the most...
I have a question, i wanny buy this e-piano, but i am a beginner in playing the piano. Is it important for a beginner, that the e-piano have aftertouch?! This e piano doesen't have aftertouch is that correct? Btw, love hear you play :-), sounds great!
which one are you looking to buy, and what other ones have you tried? as a beginner it probably doesn't matter that much, but get the best one you can afford and be sure to play them all so you can compare......
I think 2022 I bought it....still the same model, don't think there is an upgrade yet.....it is a good value for the money $850 US dollars/.....thanks for your interest.
